Hostess: Holly (hbrown) Keyword: CAS402 Date: Week of November 7, 2016
Hi folks! What an exciting day! I woke up this morning and was cleaning the house (not exciting, I know...). I took a break and saw an email from Judy so I sat down to read it. She selected me for this week's Featured Stamper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was flabbergasted! How exciting is that?
To top it all off, I am also hosting this week's CAS challenge. I want to see how you "Light the Way." Show me your lights - stars, lanterns, candles, Christmas lights, whatever you have that spreads light. Just remember to keep your card Clean And Simple. You are more than welcome to combine the CAS challenge with the Featured Stamper challenge for bonus points!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenge. 2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card. 3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project. 4. Please remember to use the correct keyword CAS402 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenge with any other challenges.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We cannot wait to see what you create!
And the fave from last week is:

Holly, how awesome that you are our Featured Stamper this week! Congratulations on that. I really love this challenge and just finished the card. I just need to photograph the card in the light, so I'll post in the am.

There is no such thing as a bad Gelli Print as you can always punch them out if you don't like the look of the print as a stand alone piece. I used a patriotic print for stars on my cards .Quiet Comfort Quartet
Two for you: CAS402 friendly light and TLC611 you light up my life The sentiment for the neighborhood card is from a set of lighthouses, and I couldn't resist making a lighthouse card for this week's CAS challenge.

Holly, congrats on being honored as Featured Stamper. Your gallery is GORGEOUS!!!!
I had two Christmas-y ideas for this challenge and although I saw the challenge earlier today, I coudn't get to the craft room til now. I browsed the CAS402 gallery, and found two cards that featured candles and were almost exactly the thought I had--us great minds think alike. So I chose a different direction and made this a non holiday card. Love these CAS challenges!
