CC608 Eating Eggplant on the Pacific under a Soft Sky
HelloColorChallengeFriends!!
First business of the day: celebrating our favorite from last week:
Pam was our hostess and she picked Marg's(aka Margscardcrazy) card here!
This is what she said about Margs card: "I love the mix of designer papers Marg used on her gorgeous card. She tied it all together beautifully with her ribbon banners and raffia."
Congrats, Marg! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
So, on to this weeks challenge. Our colors this week are:
Elegant Eggplant Pacific Point Soft Sky
Dessert will be to use some silver.
Here are some samples to get the creative juices flowing:
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC608 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
Beautiful colors for today's challenge. Here's my card.

Went with some die cuts for my wreath, owl, and star- added washi tape borders, and a bit of coloring. Dry embossed the owl's "branch"- here's Friendly Owl

Didn't actually use stamping, but I love this decoupage scene, which came close to the mid blue and the eggplant colour, and I used a pale snowflake paper for the light blue. Hope you like!
Had fun using reflective silver tape, run through my Big Shot for wood grain texture- with the sun's rays reflected in my picture! Added some coloring, a dc scalloped circle, and a ribbon/floss tie. Here's Silver Thanks

Loved the color challenge- added some brown, red, and yellow too- and glitter with my gems and brad- and combined it with this week's sketch challenge. I thought it was time to break out the holiday stamps- so I used Penny Black's Joy to the World set for my Holiday Trio.

Beautiful colors and perfect for a very non traditional Christmas card. I couldn't resist combining it with this week's WTUI challenge. Although, I must confess I snuck in some flesh tones and brown, head bowed in shame ;) Thanks for the challenge, Maura. Here's my card Santa Baby!
Oh My Goodness, thank you so much for choosing my card as the CC card for the week I'm amazed and very flattered Pam :-D
I deliberately left the card without a greeting or sentiment because I felt it was pretty much a universal card and could be used as a birthday, encouragement or even a sympathy card.
The inside of the card has a strip of the Daffodil Delight DP and Whisper White mounted onto some Old Olive, which is the way I finish all my cards unless they are single sheet cards, (CAS) cards, then I use insert paper.
Once again thank you so much Pam for choosing it and thank you everyone else for your kind words of encouragement, they are always cherished.
