F4A349 - "Texturize" - 10/28/16
F4A349 - "Texturize" - 10/28/16
I am IN LOVE with sweaters. I think that is my FAVE thing about moving from summer into fall ... pulling out my sweaters!!! They are so comfy and WARM and full of texture.
So ... this week the challenge is to add some TEXTURE to your card in any way that you can. I used an embossing folder, some burlap, staples, and a 3D flower. Use whatever you want, but make it FUN TO TOUCH!!
Here is my sample:
Comfy Sweater

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Fun challenge. I made a salted watercolored bkg and when I removed the salt from the dried piece, it left a texture on my paper. To add to the look of the texture, I sponged on rubbing alcohol over a piece of drywall tape.
here is my card:
Blue Christmas

Great challenge - I pulled out my cable knit folder for my card as well, for the first time; I love it!

F4A349 Woodsy Thanks so much
used up bits of this and that left over from the Falliday Fest- 2 embossing folders- wood grain and snow burst (sizzix) and a Sizzix christmas tree die. Added a calligraphy outlined sentiment, and used a foil star, along with gold ribbon and raffia. Here's Woodsy Thanks so much

I couldn't resist playing today, eventough, I should have been doing something other then playing. I've been seeing sweater cards with the SU embossing fold and I don't have that one, but I have 6 others so I used the lumber jack ebf. I keep hearing about pumpkin spice lattes so I had to add some sugar and spice. Lol. Hope you enjoy, this is my spin on some fall texture.
