I can't believe this is the last day of challenges for our first ever Falliday Fest! We hope you've had fun, and had a chance to give a few cards and stash a few too! Remember you have until the 31st to finish up and push for Yeti status... and then... prizes! This challenge is a easy one for our final day, inspired by holiday gingerbread cookies! I love the look of plain gingerbread with thin lines of white icing.
Let's recreate the look with white embossing on kraft cardstock! Make a one-layer card with a kraft-colored base, and emboss a line image using white powder. You can color the image in, or leave it as is. That's it!
We are actually moving into our new house today, so if I'm quiet in the thread, that's why! I'll check in and comment when I can.

Dini- just finished eating the end of my first batch of gingerbread figures- sent some to our kids for their care packages- and dug out this "new to me" die and coordinating sentiment. Made it into a tag so it can be used for the holidays. Here's FF16diniB Gingerman Tag

Ann, you are amazing - thank you so much for being 'here' for me! We had about 9 guys from where Russ works to help us, so everything is HERE, just a matter of finding a place for it all. About 2.5 years ago we made an international move so some things have been in storage since then... it is a little weird having it all under one roof now... since we moved back, too, we have been in a state of 'temporary' with lots of upheaval and disappointments, plus the usual readjustment issues after 9 years overseas... It is hard to wrap our heads around this house being ours, and this move being permanent. It just doesn't seem real.
Beautiful cards, ladies! Thought a simple challenge would be nice for the last day! Did you enjoy Falliday Fest? I'd love to hear your feedback.
What a great challenge...I love the look but I have to say for those of us who don't do many CAS type cards it was hard holding back.
Just read your update Dina....Congratulations on your house!! I know how exhausting it can be moving...it's hard to even think of an international move that you've done....wow...Best of luck finding places for all those things that were packed away. And thanks for all your work hosting and planning, etc this event...I loved it all!!
