This week we are going back to basics with a very simple layout. But sometimes simple can be very hard, so I hope you are challenged by getting back to simplicity! This week's inspiration card was posted by lzappa and was created by her friend Jill. I loved this card the moment I saw it and it has been in my favorite's ever since! Here is a link to lzappa's friend Jill's card:
Can't wait to see what you guys create this week!
Keep an eye out next week for another fun bonus for sketch challenge 26!
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
This one should be fun! Just got word that Brown dropped off a huge box of stuff this morning, so can't wait to get home and (hopefully!) do some stamping. Four hours, 45 minutes...but who's counting?

Holy cow! DD Gallery and Sketch challenge all in one day?! What's a girl to do?? I swore to myself I was going to start participating in at least the sketch challenges! I better get busy!
I got two to share with you.
One was inspired by SU Demo friend, Carmen, she used this at one of her workshops and I loved it so much that I quickly mailed it to a friend and then today I had to remember how we put it all together. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The second I got the idea from a swap, only I didn't have the same stamp sets, so I used what I had. It's for my high schooler, who opted to spent the next 6 weeks on the university campus at a tech/careers camp. I'll send him a card every day or so just so he doesn't miss me and my 'bad' habits Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
All I have to say is it was hard for me to keep it simple, I sometimes get carried away.
Tried 2 new techniques with this card to meet both the TLC16 and SC25 challenges. These challenges are certainly encouraging me to extend my repertoire. This is my very first shaker card!!!
I thought this one suited the 90 degree heat we've been having:
Here is mine--image is still pending! Thanks for the challenge--forced me to get a graduation card done!

My first sketch challenge. I must have taken 20 photos and was still scared to post. Do you ever get over the fear of posting? Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
My card is a combination of the sketch and the color combo challenges. The hardest part was lining everything up for the window. I probably just over-complicated the whole thing like I do for everything else in life!
I made this card for my mom's birthday next Tuesday. Sure hope she gets it on time!
