I'm anxiously waiting my first monthly club subscription from Die Cut Club (diecutclub.com). A friend of mine started last month, and the die cuts were so cute and fun! It was a camping/fishing/Father's day theme, and there were a lot of die cuts included for the cost, and the shipping is included in the cost too. I was impressed by the quality, and for me, the sizing was perfect for card-making. My friend used them for her scrap-booking. Anyway, I had to try it for myself.
Has anyone else ordered from this company? I'd love to see what other people have done with their die cuts for inspiration. I did find a YouTube review () for the May kit, which I wish I had known about about and ordered! I'm super excited for July's kit! I love a good, crafty surprise!

I checked out their website but there wasn't a whole lot of information there which makes me nervous. It says the die cuts are homemade - what does that mean? Homemade means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Is someone physically using scissors to cut die shapes by hand? Is an electronic cutter like the Silhouette being used to cut the shapes? If so, were those files created from scratch or to they belong to others? Are they using a die cutting machine like the Big Shot with dies from other companies? Are they using dies from a particular company or companies? Has this business checked out the angel polices for the dies that they are using, if they are using dies?
It might be all totally above board but that isn't evident from what is presented on their website.

That was my first thought, too - are they stomping all over angel policies (which are difficult to enforce, but this is fairly blatant) or did they get permission or do they own the rights to the dies/cut files they're using or what? It's not a bad idea if it's legit, but you might want to do some background checking before you commit to anything that could turn out to be shady...
Those are some good questions. I've already ordered, and I'm excited for my first set. I have actually seen the die cuts my friend received, and I can say they look professional. They are not cut out with scissors. The images were clear, and the embellishment was nicely done.

Glad that you are e cited. It's always fun to get a surprise of something you love!
I do agree though that there are lots of questions.
I remember when you could buy die cuts like these in craft stores. They would have drawers, and a picture of the die cut on the front.
This is a little off topic, but what is it with everything going subscription happy lately?
I saw the Fabletics commercial on tv, told my daughter to use my cc to order something, and then realized I was getting charged monthly. She wasn't ordering, so she was just building up credit. Happily, I called and was able to get my money back.
Now there's another subscription being advertised on tv. I forget what it is. Purses? Shoes?
Of course there is Paper Pumpkin and the other stamping kits that are available now.
I guess the company likes it figuring you won't bother to cancel or skip, so it's automatic income for them.
Hello everyone, I am the owner of Die Cut Club. I was contacted today to let me know there was a post on the die cut club. I am so glad to hear some feed back. I have taken all of your comments and changed my website to reflect the answers. The Die Cuts are made from the Silhouette machine. After cutting them then I add embellishments to some of the die cuts. I do have a designer who will make one of a kind product for me with a commercial license for me to resale. If I do not use my designer than every clip art bought is also purchased with a commercial license. I would not want to every take advantage. If there are any other questions or concerns please let me know. I am really happy to hear what you all have had to say so far, it helps me clarify.
Thank you.
Melinda
