It's a great space that used to house Reiman magazines and books like Taste of Home, etc. I loved shopping there, it had so much to see and I was sad when it closed. Now I can go there again and even sign up for classes, maybe? My happy!

Great News I live in Southeastern Wisconsin.
I checked the info and the Amazing thing is NO Where is an address listed for any stores in this shopping district. There are a lot of stores there
I even tried the Greendale Village Web site and they don't list an address either . How do they expect people to come their shopping district if they don't provide an address or even a vague location ?

Well after much digging I found where the Greendale Village shops where Gina K's new shop will be located . I really want to go to Gina K's new shop when it opens . I like to be able to see the colors of paper and such and not need to spend $50 for free shipping. I can just buy what I want and come back for more when I need it .
It appears it will be located on Broad Street in Greendale. For anyone familiar with Southeastern Wisconsin Broad street is between S 76th and Loomis road and just south of Grange . It is also Southeast of Southridge shopping center if you know where that is .
Her new store will only be 18 miles from my house . Yahoo
Her site says the store will open around June 1st.

How awesome for you! After so many stamp stores closing, it's so nice to hear of one that is opening!
How far is her shop going to be from Marshfield WI? My grandmother is turning 100 this year. We live in Auburn WA so it would be nice to be able to visit a stamp store if it isn't too far out of the way and we're able to make it back there for her big birthday party.

Greendale is a suburb of Milwaukee, so it's about 3 hours from Marshfield. But if you should happen to find yourself flying into Milwaukee, Greendale isn't too far from the airport.
I love all the Southeastern WI love happening here!!! This makes me crazy excited! I spend a lot of time in, or near Greendale!!! (I don't live there but I live really close!)! I really needed some good news today so this is awesome!
I am only 5 hours from MN. so can't wait........Michaels,Joann;s just doesn't do it for me anymore !!!!! Love Gina's stamps, her cardstock, and patterned paper,.......
I stopped in the store on Friday. I was limited on time but wanted to check it out regardless. I was caught off guard by the number of colors in her ink line. When I asked Gina a question regarding the ink pads she began demoing any color that I was interested in. I was so appreciative of this. I will definitely go back.

Did you happen to note the hours? I want to take a trip there soon.
I was there on Friday. Even though everything wasn't stocked yet, it was still wonderful enough to make me feel like I was going to hyperventilate! Gina carries gorgeous card stock, beautiful patterned paper, a great assortment of stamps (btw did I you see that Claire Brennan ,
formerly of Waltzingmouse stamps, is now illustrating for Gina K??), inks that stamp wonderfully, and now tons of other must have supplies! She will be starting classes at the store soon as well!! It is definitely worth a trip.
Stopped by tonight. Oh my, it's a great store! She has all of her paper, ink, ribbons, buttons, stamp sets, and much more! You can even buy the paper by the sheet. The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. Sharing a photo of my haul.
Hello! I went to the new store this past June. It is amazing. SO many wonderful samples and products and the staff is amazing! I spent 2.5 hours just walking around and asking questions about products. I was new to the "foiling" technique so Gina gave me a demo. She also has put together some amazing classes! Check your calendars and plan a trip. It would be so worth it!

Oh man! So happy for you in SE WI but when I first started reading this I thought it would be near Madison like her old store. I'm in SW WI and get to Madison often but not Milwaukee.
Now I'm close enough to make a day trip but I doubt I ever will. Oh well! I'm glad to hear of the store opening.

I stopped in the new store today--it is wonderful. It is called Village Paper and Ink--here is the website: Home It is on a corner and has lots and lots of huge windows. It is so much bigger than the tiny store she had in McFarland, for those that had been there. It is well worth the trip for anyone who is thinking about it.
I spent some time talking to Gina and she is as warm and friendly as ever! She said every day she talks to people from all over the US (and Canada) who stop in. One lady was on her way from California to New Jersey and "had" to stop in! They have great employees and a boat-load of product available. Gina mentioned that she is going to have a special event in October that will have some of her designers in attendance for three days--that sounds like a great time! More information will be posted on her blog as well as the store website. There are also some cute stores in that downtown block of Greendale and it is such a quaint town. There is a statue of Norman Rockwell painting a picture right on the corner!
Please go and check it out--with so many local stamping stores closing, it is great to see one open!!!!! Plus, we have 3 other LSS's within a half hour of her store. Polka Dots and More in Mukwonago, Creative Pals-home of Whipper Snapper Designs in Brookfield and the Scrapbook Store in Greenfield.

Never say never! I said I'd never get over to Mikwaukee to Gina's store but I have a new job and they are sending me to a training the end of Nov. for four days and it's in Glendale only about 15 miles from Greendale!
At first I thought I might be going right to the area her shop is in, as the name is so close!
Hooray!!!

I don't know if this too late for you, but I'll throw this your way. You mentioned that you will be in Glendale. The Bayshore Town Center is located in Glendale and there is a store called The Paper Source. The store has their own line of stamps, not an overwhelming amount but on occasion I find an unique one. The store is mostly a stationary store for the most part and also carries an eclectic assortment of gifts.

This is the week I'm in Milwaukee. I think I'm going to Gina's store today or tomorrow. Our class facilitator decided to start class at 8:30 so we will be done at 4:00 and I'm heading out to Gina's right after. She's open till 8:00.
I need silver CS as SU doesn't carry it anymore. Maybe she'll have that. Otherwise it will just be fun to look at all the goodies!

Thanks! I'm staying on Port Washington Rd. Am I close? I'm a little Leary about driving around Milwaukee as it's kind of crazy! I live in a smaller city of 60,000 that's very easy to get around in.

The Bayshore Town Center is located on 5800 N. Port Washington Rd, so you are probably are pretty close.
