HelloColorChallengeFans! It's Tuesday and time for another color challenge. #579 on the charts for us!
Let's start with the fave from last week. Maura was the hostess and she chose this beautyfrom Carolyn aka snowmanqueen.
Maura said:"I love the way Carolyn's card keeps an overall CAS look, but yet there are so many great details: the 2 kinds of embossing, 2 colors of ribbon, the piercing, and of course, the beautiful butterfly! Love it"!!
Congrats Carolyn! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
Now onto this week's challenge. I chose 2 of the in-colors that are getting ready for retirement and a neutral for my trio this week.
Are you ready for "lost my honey in the gray lagoon"?
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC579 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
For this week's color challenge, I got this cool watercolor resist panel from the stamping buddies- added some die cut critters along with mushrooms and trees for this forest scene. Finished with some grey washi tape and striped dp. Here's Friendly Forest

Mary- awesome colors! on my second card, went with a fanciful interpretation of a lily pad scene- did some freehand cutting- and added texture with my washi tapes and embossing. Here's Picnic Frogs. Enjoy the sunshine!

Here's mine. I think I got dessert because Cookie Monster is a boy. I didn't have the exact colors tho .. The Cookie Monster didn't look right in tealish tones. Tfl
DS is going through some big tests at school- loves a good meal afterwards- inspired my card. Did the paper strips while skyping with my DD- and recycled a dc sentiment from the stamping buddies. Here's Congrats

Even though I haven't gotten a chance to play (hopefully this weekend), I just have to comment on how much I love the creative name! Lost my honey in the gray lagoon- I'm truly Laughing Out Loud! Thanks for the giggle!
Mary, I didn't have time to join in this fun 'lost your honey in grey' challenge. The title is a hoot. I may have to find the time to come back with my honey in the grey. Fun captioned title.
