Question Would you buy the SU! Banner Triple Punch

...or not? I've been on the fence about getting this punch for a while and am placing an order. I've never been good at creating banners "by hand" or "free-style. They always seem somewhat 'off' to me and not as sharp as the punch would be.

Thanks,
Kelli

I do have it. I don't know that I would buy it again. I'm not using it as much as I thought I would. Mostly because of my punch storage situation. It takes me forever to find a punch,so I usually just hand cut the "fish-tail".

I need a robot to bring my supplies to me instead me having to hunt them down.

I have it and love it. I've only had a short time and already reaching for it often. I'm not good at cutting the banner ends myself either. I have used the corner of a square punch, but not always successful with that method.

FYI - On the Triple Banner punch, there are grooves on the bottom where the paper slides in. If you cut the paper one of the sizes that fit in a set of grooves, there is no problem getting it to punch evenly. If your paper strip is larger or smaller, then you have to position it yourself. I have learned the sizing and make sure my strip is one of those sizes. Although I have also lined it up myself with success.

Here's a card on which I used the Triple Banner punch.

I use it on cards for sentiment banners and for backgrounds. I also use in for scrapbook, to make little flags with letters for titles or tiny accents like hearts, arrow, etc.

No, I decided no right away. It's not like it punches a whole banner out. You still have to cut the paper the correct size. (I'm obvisiously lazy! Ha Ha!) Then I would have gotten it. That would probably be impossible for a triple punch. But one big banner punch I'd buy!

I figure since I have to cut the paper why bother with another tool. Just snip the V. I don't like tons of steps! That's why I still like wood mount even though I buy clear mount for the price point.

I find it fairly easy to cut the V. But I'm not saying mine are perfect!!! I've also been over banners for awhile. I really do adore the whimsical-ness of banners but I just see them so often I'm weary of them.

I have used this punch at SU classes and it's very nice to use. If you use banners a lot on your cards I'd say buy it!

Got it and love it. I'm one of those that can cut around almost anything but struggle with free hand cutting shapes and or the "v" to make a banner. Sigh......

So I'm a Demo, have been since January. I did not think I would want the triple banner punch but in November I did a class and we used it and then I 'got it'. So I ordered with my starter kit and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I've used it with almost all of my classes and my last class a lady said 'I didn't think I would need this and thought it was a waste but now that I've used it I'm going to order it because it's much easier/faster." I told her I had the same feelings about the triple banner too.

Get with your SU! demo and try it out. I demo it whenever I can because I was on the 'I don't need this' wagon.

Too spendy, I can easily cut the V by hand for free.

I personally don't like it, but then I don't have a lot of parties.

Connie Stewart actually has a video on how to get six widths of banners than just the three! I can't do the V cut consistently. Usually one end is so different from the other!
