Today we have some special news, which is exciting and sad at the same time. First of all, we are saying goodbye to three of our TLC Hostesses. Joan, Jenn, and Anne have all needed to step down from our Hostess rotation. We will miss them dearly! Joan has been a TLC Hostess for over six years! Wow. She and I were the only hostesses for awhile several years back, and I have loved working with her on this challenge. Jenn joined us in 2013, and Anne in 2014. It has been a joy to work with all of these women, and I know you appreciate, as Sabrina and I do, their dedication and work each month in presenting fun techniques for us to try. THANK YOU!!!
While Sabrina and I will stay on as Hostesses, we are also adding two other women you are going to love (and already do!). KellyJean Gettelfinger and Karen Dunbrook will be joining our Team this month and we are thrilled to have them be a part of the TLC Challenge!
So with those changes, our first Monday of the month, Sabrina and I will be presenting some techniques to revisit. We have such a wonderful resource here on SCS with so many great techniques, and we want to remember those that have gone before! I will keep my 2nd Monday spot, KellyJean will have the third Monday, Sabrina the 4th, and Karen will join us on the 5th Monday.
We hope that you will play along with us and have some fun learning new techniques, as well as revisiting some oldies but goodies.
Today's technique is a simple one for some - you may already do this every time you make a card! For others, it's a challenge!
We are revisiting TLC77: No Layers. You can see Beth's original post here.
But basically, it's ONE layer with no embellishments. One piece of cardstock folded. Like I said, easy for some and not for others!
BUT -- there is a twist! Since we are saying Hello and Goodbye this month, make your card with a wish or message for the wonderful woman who have given so much time for this challenge (Joan, Jenn, Anne) and also for those coming on board (KellyJean, Karen). And tell us about it in your description!
A BIG!! thanks to Joan, Jenn and to Anne, who have inspired and helped us expand our creativity every Monday. We appreciate all that you have done for SCS; your time and dedication will be missed.
I am thrilled to be joining the TLC team along with my new teammate Kelly Jean. Looking forward to many fun challenges to come.
Here is my card of thanks:
Thank you so much Joan, Jenn and to Anne for all the great challenges on Monday.
I learned a lot of new things
Hello Kelly Jean and Karen, such an honor to have challenges from you ladies.
Greetings from Monique ( niki1 )
Eep - it's making me feel old! I know there are people who have been participating in the TLC for quite a bit longer than I have, but it was a bit of a shock to realise that I remember three hostesses before Joan and Judy started. Wishing you all the best in whatever paths life is bringing you along just now, Joan, Anne and Jenn. May you find small things each day to lighten your hearts.

I am just seeing this having been away from the challenges recently - life gets in the way. I just want to add my sincere thanks to Joan, Anne and Jenn - there have always been great challenges to stretch us creatively! And also, so happy to see Karen and Kelly stepping in. Thanks so much, all of you wonderful ladies!
Thank you Joan, Jenn, and Anne for everything you have done! You will be greatly missed! A big welcome to KellyJean and Karen. I look forward to many great challenges :-)
Phew! Super hard for me. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right!
I appreciate the push outside of my boundaries. Thanks for the great challenge.
Here's a big shout out to the incoming and outgoing Challenge team. Thanks for all you do and may your creativity alway "fly High". Fly High by gl1253 at Splitcoaststampers.
