Eggs are recognized as an artistic platform all over the world! It is truly amazing to see all the wonderful things artists are inspired to do with such a simple thing as an "egg"! At this time of year in America some of us are getting ready for the traditional "Easter Egg Hunts" for our children. We hide eggs and the children are challenged to find them...sometimes there's candy inside, and sometimes there are real boiled eggs that have been dyed or painted! I remember searching for my own eggs as a little girl, hoping to find the one with the dollar inside (moms would hide a dollar in just 1 of the many eggs hidden in the back yard). Join me this week for our very own Easter Egg Hunt on Pinterest this week. I'm sure you'll find just the right egg to inspire something special that even a big girl (or guy) would love!
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Challenge Goals: Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it - this is all about creating from an inspiration. So, please take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on the images you browse this week. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by my Easter Egg Hunt Pinterest Board, and that your card might also end up on my Ongoing Inspiration Genius Board if it shows signs of extra deep inspiration! (smiles)
Use the keyword: IC536 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, or just don't subscribe to Pinterest, I've uploaded 15 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
What gorgeous eggs for the inspiration this week, Audrie! I was up REALLY early this morning, so I went to the den and checked today's Inspiration site. I was afraid I'd wake my DH if I started hauling out card making supplies, so I decided to make a computer generated card. Here is my fancy egg
Thanks, Audrie, for all you do for us!

A lovely site Audrie, thanks! I was inspired by the Homage-To-Nature basket and used some wonderful die cuts from my stamping buddies- a grey trellis, a beautiful butterfly, and my sentiment. Added a brown dotted border, along with some "grass" and 2 purple bows. Here's Garden Butterfly

Inspired by the bright colors of the Incredibly Easy Easter Eggs- I am attending a baby shower, and made a bright baby quilt, too (picture to follow later). Used SU's Tag Time for my images, did some paper piecing and coloring. Here's Baby Shower
