Thanks so much if you participated in last weeks envelope challenge! I was so thrilled about the IC528 gallery (an amazing 98% envelopes!).... I don't think I've ever seen a gallery anywhere with such a diverse set of artistic envelopes! It may be the first of its' kind; so big swishy hugs to the contributing members!
So this week....I wanted to make it extra easy for you, and provide more diversified inspiration that you can choose from. Feel free to explore your creative juices in any way you like: cards, envelopes, 3D projects, scrapbook pages, or whatever else floats your boat! Our inspiration site this week is the "Uncommon Goods Website". There are many categories of product to inspire you there; including kitchenware, apparel, jewelry, wall art and more! If you'd like to get inspired to create using a particular stamp image, or a particular color, just try searching for it in the search box (top right). (FYI: If you're on a budget then hide your credit card! Their products are so creative and unique that you might find yourself ordering something if you're not careful! LOL) With so many products, I'm sure you'll find something new and different to inspire your creation this week!
Challenge Goals: Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the site reminds you of it - this is all about creating from an inspiration. :cool: Really take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images this week. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired this week.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the "Uncommon Goods" Web Site. Also, your card might also end up on my Ongoing Inspiration Genius Board if it shows signs of deep inspiration! (smiles)
Use the keyword: IC529 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.

Audrie- a very cool site with lots of inspiration- a big thanks! I was taken by the Sangria Pitcher- went with SU's Fresh Vintage for my elements- adding some coloring and 3 washi tapes for a punch of colors! Here's Vintage Note

Was inspired for my second card, love-themed, by the Buri Fiber Squirrel Ornament and used SU's Nuts About You for my images and sentiment. Grabbed a jelly jar to dry emboss my woodgrain background, and finished with a twine bow to compliment my tag within a card. Here's Two Squirrels
