CC553 - An Elegant Calypso in Old Bermuda (10/20/15)
Good Tuesday Morning, Color Lovers! It is my pleasure to be your hostess this week.
Every six weeks, when it's my turn to host, I get out my color swatches and put various ones together to see what looks good to me. I really liked the colors I came up with this week, still like them as swatches, but I had a hard time putting them together in my card. I hope you have an easier time with them. I can't wait to see your creations!
Before we get too involved in this challenge, let's pause a moment to celebrate last week's favorite.
Peggy was our hostess last week, and she chose Vicky Gould's Timeless Classic card. Peggy said, "Love the scene Vicky created with this week's colors! Awesome card!"
Congratulations, Vicky! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
OK, back to this week's challenge, your colors are:
Elegant Eggplant Calypso Coral Old Olive Bermuda Bay
The dessert option is to add pearls or rhinestones to your card.
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC553 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!

I am so sorry, ladies! I was so tired I zonked out at 8:50 last night and my card didn't get posted on time. My blog post went up because it was scheduled, but not my SCS post. I apologize! Here's the first of my two cards: Abstract Lakeshore. It uses the wrinkle-free distress technique.
