IC506 - Best Business Cards on Pinterest {08-15-15}
Dina has inspired me with her adorable little Business Card Easel! I just had to make one since it's so quick and easy (video link), and everyone I know can use it! This project is from Sue's (aka Mrs. Noofy) Business Card Easel tutorial that you can find here. I loved the project sooooo much that I'm going to set the theme of our Inspiration Challenge around it. Our inspiration site this week is the "Best Business Cards on Pinterest" board. Boy-oh-boy, there are over a thousand amazing business card designs! I'm sure you will find that many of them inspire beautiful greeting cards too! I decided to use Dina's tutorial for the holder, but in my project I put small sample bottles of fountain pen inks (it fits about 5 of them) as a gift for one of my friends. Please feel free to be inspired to create anything you'd like - it definitely doesn't have to align with the business card theme! Enjoy!
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, and since this is such a large board, I've uploaded 12 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
The fence and the trees were gifts to me through Teapot challenge - I want to say Gabby gave me the trees, the fence I really cannot remember, I am sorry.

Inspired by the colors of these business cards- used SU's Button Bear for my image, along with some washi tapes, baker's twine tie, and coloring. For a very special lady! Here's Beary HB

Thanks for the interesting Pinterest board, Audrie! At first I couldn't figure out what to do, then I found 2 & combined them. Here's my Heart Puzzle. Thanks so much for looking!
