I don't know about you, but when I was a little girl I used to sit in the big soft chair while my mother sewed, simply thumbing through her many catalogs. I would pretend that I had been invited to buy whatever I wanted....so I would dog ear all the pages with the many pretty things that I loved.... Well, I grew up to be a woman who still loves browsing and bookmarking beautiful things (the equivalent for dog ears today is probably 'pinning'), although today I use my iPad and sit in my la-z-boy chair-LOL. I especially love browsing designer shoes and bags! Won't you join me this week as we explore the exciting world of high fashion designer products at the Forzieri Website. There are so many inspiring items there; including shoes, bags, jelwery, home decor, and even Fountain Pens!! I know you're going to find just the right thing to 'dog ear' for your inspiration!
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Forzieri website.
Use the keyword: IC502 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie, this was a great site! I sure couldn't afford anything here. LOL
Here's my card.

Lots to look at on this site - do you think this is where the Hollywood stars shop?! I chose a pretty scarf as my inspiration ~ thanks for the challenge, Audrie.
Thanks for the fun challenge!! Cool stuff there, but wowza, waaaaaay outta my price range!!! (Thanks for the AWESOME happy mail this week, Audrie....wow!!!!!!)
oh wow what site!! love so many things, tossed this one together really quick still thinking about the pair I would buy if I won the lotto. ( if only I bought tickets lol)
I was inspired by Julia Cocco's London Newsprint scarf with its wonderful colors- I used SU's Lovely Labels, cut with a curly label punch, and added some orange floral ribbon. Also used burgundy thinner ribbon for trim, along with purple geometric washi tape and a black and white fancy luncheon napkin. Here's Ornate Enjoy. TFL!
