Smile Suggestions Please!

I have a friend who seems to have everything related to stamping. I need to get her something unique for her birthday, and I just can't seem to come up with anything. Are there new products from CHA out there that are awesome and a must have? I really, really appreciate any suggestions. :-)

Oh thank you for buying me a present!!!

No seriously - I saw the new silkscreens from Studio Calico that you use with Jacquard Screen printing ink (I like the gold) and those were really unique and fun and very new to me.

Wink of Stella pens.

A MISTI.

LOL! I love your blog Lydia. Well, she has the Misti (of course) and the pens, I'll have to go check out silkscreens.

Thanks!

ColorBurst, Brushos or Bisters? All are watercolor cyrstals.

If she has everything perhaps she'd enjoy an online class? I haven't taken any so have no specific recommendations but I'm sure you can get excellent feedback here.

If she isn't already a Fan Club member, a paid subscription is another idea!

HTH and ...

Happy Crafting!

Spend 2 minutes and watch this video on ColorBursts.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOCvGa_UyEs

All the 3 brands (Bisters, Brushos, ColorBursts) work the same way -- dry water color cyrstals that are activated when spritzed with water.

ColorBursts are more expensive per ounce, but the applicator bottle is nicer. The others come in little jars and you get more for your money but you either pinch it out with your fingers or use a little spoon.

A custom "hand stamped by" stamp for the back of her cards with her name on it, from Paper Angel?

Does she have any favourite online stores or stamp companies, where she might have a wishlist?

I just wanted to let you know, I have ordered custom name stamps from Paper Angels several times. Never had any problems, in case you decide to go this route.

Gave my BFF a MISTI for Her B'day. I gave her a Cutterpillar Pro V3 the year before. These are the tools she uses everyday and regularly calls me to thank me again, and again, and again.

How about a stack of magazines full of great vintage images and advertising from an antique shop, or some beautiful antique buttons?

I give my card ladies gift certificates from their favorite online stores (I am clever about asking them where they find things!) or the local big box stores since we have no LSS stores left. I keep an eye out for small things all year. When we get together I give them these little gems. They do the same finding fun little things for the rest of us as well.

Sounds like she has it all covered so probably a gift certificate if you have a LSS or gift card to a big box store. I prefer that cause my DH is so sweet and thoughtful he brought me 20 packages of manila paper and about 500 clothes pins. He was really proud of himself for getting such a great bargin. Oh well.
