Its my turn to host the Free 4 All Friday Challenge this week.
My challenge to you is to: Make a background from the wrinkle free tutorial found here. But there's a catch...I want you to alter it with either coarse salt OR clorox wipes (bleach dabbing). If you use salt, put it on while the ink is wet then let the salt dry on the cardstock before removing. With the paper towel damp with bleach or bleach wipes, you can wait till the ink is dry then use the towel to REMOVE some of the ink. AND the theme is "Baby, it's cold outside" so...think cold when you make your background!
You might want to incorporate a cute little image too, something that is snuggly or cold, whatever it is, it should make us think COLD!! In a nut shell: Cold and background

Ooh, you are sneaky with that double whammy, Robin. Historically I have not had a lot of success with either bleach or salt!!! But since I'm still off work, I've got time to give this a go ;-).
I've just discovered that my current batch of white card is useless for wrinkle free, so I'll have to try to find a quarter sheet from my last batch!!
I have been playing for the last hour, and my backgrounds are still not dry. I have to head out to work now, and then guests for dinner. Hope I still have the mojo tomorrow to finish! This was really inspiring! I've used rice instead of salt because, well, that is what was nearest to my paints because that is what I last used. I find rice friendly for cleanup. Blessings!

I used purple hues- almost amethyst, perfect plum, and rich razzleberry inks for my background and added this silly image from my new TCP stamp set- Brains, using the chalkboard technique. Finished with a bandage like ribbon treatment. Here's Lovey Mummy

Anne- I was inspired by your card with its circle and snowman elements-Let It Snow and used SU's Happy Winter for my snowman and sentiment. Used today's wrinkle free distress technique for my background, with a simple knotted yarn embellishment. Here's Happy Winter for Anne

Finally getting to play in m craft room & use some to the goodies I received for Christmas! Here is my card. It was a bit involved but I love it! Well, all except for my boo boo on the sentiment at the bottom! TFL!
Robin - thanks for the help with the shopping list - dishwasher salt all gone and sea salt all gone lumpy - 2 things on the list. If I get a card done against those odds will be back later!

Hurrah! I didn't have time for this yesterday, but it was PERFECT for combining with today's IC, so all's well that ends well. I used neat liquid bleach, since I don't have bleach wipes. I did use salt too - and that's a real sacrifice just for you, Robin, since the salt I have that works best is my expensive Fleurs de Sel that I got in La Rochelle when we were camping in France a couple of years back ;-). F4A255 Wrinkle-Free Imagination
I made 2 cards in the end one using bleach and one with salt. Bleach was added on a cotton bud - no wipes and salt was a bit past it! I have made two Christmas cards for CCC15. CCC15_1 CCC15_2
Used dies to complete my cards.
