Rovin- great challenge, thanks! I went with crayon resist as I made a waxy blob with the iron/waxed paper- got out this Sizzix holly ef- and some Rich Razzleberry ink. Used some twine, yarn, and bling to compliment my sentiment, along with a dc bunch of flowers Here's Celebrate Everyday

I had a hard, hard time with this challenge because of a lack of correct supplies to do any of the techniques listed above. I had to improvise but here's what I came up with
As I don't have wax paper and crayons at my disposal and was busy holding TWO babies all day, this was my only option. Emboss Resist...does this count? Hope so.
Robin, what a fun challenge. Here's my card.
Thank you for hosting a special challenge! You are a blessing.

This is my first try with this technique. I guess only I can see the pumpkins on the vine on the top panel of the card, ha ha. I need a little more practice but it was a really fun technique. Thanks! Here is my card:

Here's my card. I did layers of resist with distress ink. I discovered that when you blend Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Broken China you get a blue that is similar to Faded Jeans.
Okay, so I've been vacationing since the 15th of October, and I think I used up all my photography skills while traveling. Really, my card did turn out nicer than this photo shows. And all that sun, sand, and Caribbean sea got me a bit behind on the challenges...but I'm working on it!
Robin, thanks for this challenge. It's been a long time since I've done a resist card, you've made me dig up some long lost skill here! Thanks, too, for hosting! Here's my card:
This is the card I made for this challenge...I enjoyed ironing the waxed paper. I used Distress ink on one piece of glossy paper and SU ink on the other, both look nice.
