Julie, these techniques create wonderful bgs. I used Distress inks and water on a craft sheet to do my "smooching"...and did it twice for different effects. Thanks.

I have an aversion to "messy" techniques but will give one of these a try today. Saved my acrylic paints from a years ago challenge and have plenty of reinkers. First I have to do Saturday and Sunday's challenges, though.
Wow!!!! I woke up to all of you ladies here! Can't wait to grab a cuppa joe and do some creative surfing to see what you all came up with! :-) Thanks so much for joining in the fun with me!!!

Lynn, I'm not a messy stamper either and hate when my fingers looked like I have just been booked into jail! LOL! BUT..... this was a fun one and after seeing all the color variations, you might just have some fun! ;)

I LOVE it!!! And I'm a hand-washing junkie! ;) But I can't resist creativity when a quick handwash is all it takes to clean up! Love this challenge and your card is gorgeous Julie!!!!

For today's challenge- I just got smooshed and ultrasounded- and all was well with my breasts As for my card, I went with the re-inker and water smooshing technique- sped things up a bit with my hair dryer- using a crab scene from Hambo stamps, and a sentiment from SU's Crab and Co. Thought the card needed more color and texture, so I added a fabric border and some rough twine. Finished with some additional aquatic vegetation and my sentiment. Here's Snappy Birthday

Way to take my challenge literally! Love that Julia! Off to check out your beautiful creation! ;-)
Found a leftover piece from making my first card so I turned it into another! Smooshed Spattered and Stripped
I also played around again with glossy cardstock and rubbing alcohol for the spray. Here's one of the cards I made with that technique Cherry Blossom Birthday
Here's mine, Julie! I'm sorry I didn't get to add a link to your challenge yesterday, blushes. I lost a day from my mental calendar while I was sick. All linked up nicely now . I loved trying this out...thank you. HYCCT1420 Smashed Sky

This one was so much fun. I loved smooshing colors together. I did it 4 times so I could make more cards. I am ready to mix more colors. Who would have thought... Thank you for this challenge!!!! Tons of fun. Here is my card:
