Challenge Title: Laughter is the Best Medicine
Hostess: CAKath aka Kathy
Keyword: HYCCT1409
Date: Thursday, October 9th, 2014
I laugh in the face of breast cancer. Although cancer is no laughing matter, keeping your sense of humor really helps sustain your spirit through surgery, chemo and radiation treatments. Let’s make a card that starts a smile, or gets a giggle.
Let’s kick cancer’s sting with laughter- the very best medicine. Create an uplifting card with something funny on it, a pun, a joke, a funny picture. Go!

Hello Late Nite Stampers. If anyone is out there stamping, can't wait to see the first card come through for my challenge. Tomorrow's going to be a great day here! Hopefully, lots of laughs.
This type of challenge is always one I struggle with, Kathy - so I'm sorry that I will be late to the party but I'm sure in the next couple of weeks I'll come up with something, ha! Even if it's only a good pun. I'll look forward to seeing what other people create for you today.
Struggle for me, too, Sabrina! I am not a "cutesly" or "funny" card kind of gal. Guess I'll be going through my pile of wish rak images to see if I can find anything appropriate......
A terrific challenge, Kathy.....and a hard one for me(not many funny images in my warehouse). I thought of a clip I saw after Robin Williams died of Christopher Reeve telling when he(CR) was in the hospital after his horrendous accident, Robin came in with a latex-gloved hand and said, "I'm Dr. Practology, here for your exam." CR said it was the first time he had laughed in ages...and it felt SO good. So I think your challenge is RIGHT ON! Thanks!
I love how we all have such different styles and likes. This one was easy for me, I love funny cards, they are my favorite ones to make and send. Here is my 29 Again.
Put me down as another struggler, I don't even have many "cute" images, but I made it work by going to a joke site (I put the link in my card details) and finding something I could use. Best Medicine
Unlike other stampers who have commented on this challenge, I had no trouble making a funny card. In fact I think I'm kind of good at this type of card  My sense of humor is a bit out there so I hope you like what I came up with :p Thanks for a "fun" challenge Kathy ;)
Good morning all from California. I do know what you mean about the struggle. It's my challenge and I had to really think about it. I chose this as I think it is good for the patients on the receiving end. Thanks to all for being so thoughtful about your choices, but don't over-think. Just lay it all out and the card will be perfect for someone. I think Lynn's idea about a pun is a great one. I'm off to the gallery and will be back to chat. Let's make em smile!

Sabrina, I'm sure you will come up w something just right. I'm seeing some great creativity thus far. The idea of using a pun is great and we have a funny birthday card in the gallery too.
Stacy, I am so glad that you could jump right in and create something awesome from your stash. Some of us had to buy something or dig. I guess we find out who has the wicked sense of humor around here. My DH accuses me of being a stick in the mud and too serious, so I challenge myself today. Thank goodness we have you, Polly and Kathleen to lead the rest of us. I'm going to try to create a couple more samples tonight that may inspire.
I went a little Halloween and wacky with my card- thanks to a cute sentiment from the Oriental Trading Co. Added these 2 dancing figures from SU stamp sets- and some pink camo ribbon. Here's Tough Guys Wear Pink

Thanks to all who have found time to create something humorous for this challenge. I am hoping to create another selection this evening and would welcome all types of humor for our gallery. Let's keep it going.

Here's mine! A light hearted look at roasting marshmallows! Thanks so much Kathy for the great challenge. Laughter is the best medicine!
Fire Roasted Marshmallows
I always struggle with this type of card BC I never want to offend someone. I love funny cards but I often think of the recipient so I don't have too many "in your face" cards.

HYCCT1409 In Hot Water
One for my HYCCT box (only one more gap to fill in and then I'll be up to date), and one exactly the same going out this afternoon to this week's MMTPT destination.
Thanks for helping me kill two birds with one stone, Kathy.
