Can you believe this is our 6th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2013 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2014! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2014! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2014 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc14sep"

Wow! Where did summer go???
I'm going to have to go back and count the pages I did for August. I know there are wedding pages I didn't get to post...can I still include them in my count?
Hopefully, now that school is starting I'll be able to get more pages done and check in more! Our weekends seem to be full through October already so I'm going to plan on getting my pages done during the week!!

Happy September to you! Today is my 15th wedding anniversary (we're going on a little getaway later this week) and this is my favorite time of year! I got 10 pages done in August and to make my yearly goal I need to do 18 in September. Definitely no shortage of photos, just of time, haha...But I'll make that my goal and see how it goes!
Also, I just loaded the last page I got done in Aug so I'll link it here: Greenshow 2014

2024 Scrapping Goals: March 8/12; Feb: 6/15; 2024: 35/125
I met last month's goal and had 9 pages for the month bringing my total to 55 for the year. We are moving in 2 weeks so not sure how much I'll get done in September… I better set my goal at 6. And hopefully in October I can make a big dent as I'm going on a weekend scrapbook retreat.

Wow, can't believe it has been so long since I've been here. I haven't scrapped even one page in August and now it is September already. I am just starting to look at a page I started early July to see if I can finish it.
I am reading that a few of you are having serious changes in your life as well. I have my grand daughter and great grand daughter living here since mid July. Time is flying by with all we have been doing. Lot's of photos need to be worked into pages! At this point I am afraid to set a goal, but I think I should because it may push me to do some pages. I'm going for 5 pages this month.
Wishing all of you happy adjustments and lots of loving photo opportunities!

I used a Fiskars border punch that was in the back of my drawer (I also used the last of that particular ribbon...I will have to replace that as I use it for Graduation cards too) and some vellum paper my sister gifted me (some time ago)! I don't know where she got it but I have several half sheets of colored and printed vellum I completely forgot about! I'm also down to my last two Hero Arts flower gems! I even had enough room around the class invitation saying to dig out my SU paper piercer kit! I can probably count the number of times I've used it on one hand (and I've had it for a couple of years!!) LOL. The bookplates and diploma were cut with svg files from svgcuts.com and the tag was cut from the Lettering Delights Delilah Tags file.

Ok, I think this may be the weekend...6 months of no scrapping...I don't know how to begin! This was my first week working full-time but our facility is closed on Friday's so I am working from home for a few hours; I am doing some digi scrap pages for work so I get paid for scrapping today ;-). After my work is completed then I MUST straighten up my room, it's a bit messy after 6 mos. of being a dumping ground; then hook up the new cricut that I bought in May but have yet to use (and photo the old to put up for sale); and then at least pull pictures for a page :-). I'd like to get at least one dps finished by Sunday! I also have a ton of photos to go through and organize from this past year ~ yikes! As for the rest of the month, I am not going to make a goal on the number of pages; I have a lot of organizing to do instead. I think next month might be easier to make a new page # goal once work is somewhat settled plus my kitchen and master bath will be completed by next week so life needs to calm down a bit more (if it ever does!).
Can't wait to scrap this weekend! Hope to 'see' you around :-)

Hi! I don't know if you ladies remember me or not, but I would like to come back and participate! I haven't scrapped in almost 1 year, so it's hard to get back into the swing of things.
I would like to finish 1 page for this month for my friend whose cat passed away as a momento and also work on some art for my daughter's room.
I don't quite remember how to link and stuff anymore (it's been so long!!!), so try to be patient with me because I may ask some dumb questions in the process of trying to remember. hahaha!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Hi gals. Just checking in to say hi. I did do a tiny bit of scrapping last month (2 layouts - woohoo!) but most of my time outside caring for my family was dedicated to prepping for my church's women's retreat. I designed and assembled 35 folders, and got to use my Cricut and a bunch of paper my neighbor had given me when she moved. The retreat was last weekend, and then I moved on to making name tags for the 15 ladies in my Bible Study Fellowship group. Now that all that is over, who knows, I may actually get back to scrapbooking! Please put me down for 5 layouts. I think I'm going to gear up slowly - LOL!
Where did you get your stickers? I would love to get some for my pages! Great place to visit....love your page!
For my goals: In August I completed 19 pages. So for September, I'll shoot for 20 pages. I have pictures printed out for 2013 so I'll work on that album and I pulled out my Alaska trips...maybe by the end of the year I can get those done! It's only been 20+ years!!
Got another page loaded and I have half a double layout done too, waiting for the second half. I cannot believe how busy I have been this month with all the extra curricular kids stuff...and just as I was thinking that its become too much for my daughter- she asks to sign up for another one! NO!!! silly girl.........! Anyway! I am hoping one of these nights to catch up in the gallery! Lunch Dates

You go Sharon! I think about scrapping but between DGS's activities and work, I never seem to have time even to sign on here and read posts! I just hired my daughter to come and help out at the business so I'm hoping to get things caught up finally. It's been 19 months since we bought out the business across the street and I still had a full office of Old boxes full of their business files that needed to be organized so I can get them put away. She did an awesome job this past week and the office is starting to finally look like a real office
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! I walked in my first 5K Charity Event this morning, lots of fun!
I'm hoping my MOJO is back and I can enjoy some Scrap Time! I have several pictures and layout ideas on my desk ... also hoping for a little less chaos during the week so I can also play during the week
Hope all of you are having a fun weekend
