I usually prefer using non-card sites for inspiration, but this week is an exception. I'm thrilled to invite you to join me on Kittie Caracciolo's amazing blog "Kittie Kraft". Kittie has been loved and admired for a very long time as an inspirational Artist on SplitCoastStampers, having joined in 2004. Since then she has developed the most spectacular style! IMO it's a mixture of paper art, mixed media, CAS (yep that too!), along with a fabulous talent for creating living breathing miniature wonderlands. I hope you will take this opportunity to browse her blog and flag your favorites....and I'm sure that you'll find just the right creation to inspire your own personal masterpiece! (Side Point: This really isn't the time for CASE'ing - but if you're anything like me, you'll notice a bunch that you'd like to try on your own one day....LOL. What I love about her blog format is that she lists everything she used when making her cards right underneath the picture, with links to where you can buy it and everything! Isn't she AWESOME!?)
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today. Please be sure that all of your descriptions have a link back to your inspiration piece available only from Kittie's blog.
Use the keyword: IC459 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge.
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

This is so terrific! I own half the stuff I do because I want to CASE Kittie creations, LOL. She is truly amazing, and I still regret I wasn't able to meet her when I was in Orlando a couple of years ago. I hope to see y'all later with a creation of my own -

I found the perfect card of Kittie's for inspiration! Her work is AMAZING and as one who is always losing little pieces of things I'm trying to put on cards..I'm in awe of her ability to keep all those tiny bits on her table and attach them to her cards. Mine usually end up on the floor or waste basket or into the "unknown"...Thanks for the inspiration Kittie and Audrie!
