Have you ever had a rough week at work and end it craving something simple yet fun!? Well that's my case this week. I crave simple inspiration that results in easy but fun projects. (I'm posting early because I'm so tired that I'm turning in early LOL - Hopefully my inspiration pieces will stay with me in my dreams and inspire me to post many more card designs tomorrow.) I know I am capable of creating cards from that board all day!
In the meantime, take advantage and browse this weeks inspiration site early, as I invite you back again to my ever growing Inspiration Board on Pinterest. I have been collecting a large variety of multi-faceted pieces of inspiration and there are hundreds of images there now! So, I'm sure that if you browse it, you'll find something that touches your heart! To kick off your creative spirit, I've uploaded a little favor-gift rather than a card - just to do something different (and easy). Tomorrow I'll upload a few fresh card designs too!
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Inspiration board.
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Use the keyword: IC456 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites (plus one that I found worth a smile!) so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

Bummer - it's the first time ever I haven't been able to look at a Pinterest board properly. I don't have an account, never have - but today it's only letting me view about the first twenty pins :-(. I'll have to consider what to do about this, because I have no particular desire to open an account.
So from the narrower range of inspiration available to me, here is my IC456 Kenzo Poppy
Thanks, Audrie - I hope you have a good weekend after that rough week.
Thanks for the challenge!! Unfortunately, I was not able to see your entire board either, but found the inspiration I needed from the first row.....woo hoo!!!
Audrie- awesome site! I was inspired by the lady in blue and created an ATC with ribbon ties, stitching and a handwritten sentiment. Here's my Little Hello ATC

For anyone who does not want to sign up for a Pinterest Account here are some tips:
1. Note that every IC has 5 images attached - you can always use the attached images as your own inspiration portal instead of going to the site.
2. Use one of the links in someone's card. As you probably figured out already, if you use someone's link from their card description that will get you in without an account. Once you're in you may click on the TITLE "Inspiration" at the top of the Pinterest board (shown on the top right side of the big image). That will let you see about 20 pictures (which I think is probably more than enough for the challenge).
3. You can also sign in with your Facebook account (exactly as you sign-in on Facebook) In that case you'll be treated like a regular member and will see the hundreds of pictures I have. When you get a chance, check the sharing options under settings once you're in if you want to control the relationship (what's being shared) between Pinterest and Facebook.
4. Go ahead and Sign-up - it's quick and easy and FREE. You can always cancel the account after the IC challenge. Personally, I suggest you try it out first because you can use Pinterest for A LOT of things - not just card inspiration. You can look for recipes (yes the pictures and the instructions can be pinned), travel around the world (virtually of course), get ideas for DIY projects, home decorating, sewing and quilting, gardening and botany, games and arts for children, wildlife photography, laugh at adorable pet photos, even hunt for a house! Plus, it's not just photos - there are often quotes, posters, info graphics, and loads of video content (right in the pins) or as a click off to other sites. Honestly - it's worth the few minutes it takes to sign-up
Are you hesitating because you don't want to have to remember a new user name and password?Use the exact user name and password you use for Splitcoaststampers - that way you won't forget! Also, they do very very little emailing you - so minimal spam! Technical Tip: Never use the same user name and password for EVERYTHING - including financial banking, insurance, and other sites that have PII.
What a gorgeous Pinterest gallery!! I was inspired by the color combo of the paper lace tape photo. Here's MY CARD.

Thank you for the tips, Audrie! I was happy to be able to see a few rows of pics on your board, otherwise I would have used the samples you provided. It's all good!!
