Hello everyone…time for a new Ways to Use It Challenge and today it's all about TEXTURE! Are you a touchy, feely type person…one who likes to pick up a card and feel the different textures on it? There are so many ways to add texture to cards, including but not limited to…embossing, paper tole, fibers, modeling paste, embellishments like sequins and pearls and and bling, fabric, corrugation, stitching…the list goes on and on. Today you must use at least three different types of texture on your card or project. Can't wait to see how you WOW us with some Tantalizing Texture!
Michelle and Sabrina have some fabulous samples in the thumbnails below!

When I first read this and it said to use three (!!) textures I kind of panicked...that's too many I thought..and then I ended up using four! Go figure!
Thanks, Cathy, for an awesome challenge. My card for this challenge was very time consuming because of the drying time and hand stitching, but also, so much fun! Without challenges, my cards would be so boring, both to look at, and to create. Challenges are, for me, the lifeblood of creativity. Here is my Textured Thanks

Thanks for the fun challenge, Cathy! Love texture on cards! I was also in a bit of "fancy fold" phase so I have 3 pics to show. Whew! Glad I got that out my system! No more intricate folds for me for a while (I hope). Here's my
Had fun making this ATC- re purposing an appointment card, and adding a distressed and colored mini background for Pooh. My texture elements are the staples, button, and rough twine. Dedicated to my friend Jan who's always there for me Here's Dear Friend

Here's mine: Miss You A Latte. For texture I used ribbon, embossing paste, a rhinestone, and lots of layers. I also have a close-up where you can see the texture a lot better. Thanks for looking!
Here's mine for today. I had a whole different idea in my head but do you think I can find the brand new spool of wide burlap trim I bought? Ugh!
So I went in another direction. Thanks, Cathy, for a great challenge today.
Here is my card for the tantalizing texture challenge, WT487. I wasn't sure this fit the challenge, but I had fun making it. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.
