When I picked the challenge, it was warm here in Chicagoland, which made (yes, emphasis on the past tense now!) me think of summer. The quintessential summer-time image is hanging out in the hammock under a tree sipping a lemonade. Hammocks are, of course, made out of rope, so I want you to use your hammock parts for this challenge - you can use rope, yarn, string, or twine, but NO ribbon for this challenge.
Check out the gorgeous sample that Sabrina made for you - those flowers are just WOW, and the "rope" just seals the deal!
I made you two samples - one with a crocheted star ornament, and the other with gratuitous use of twine.
Be sure to include WT483 in your keyword, so we can all get wrapped up in your creations HERE.

What a fun challenge, Michelle. I'll see if I can make something more imaginative this afternoon during my gallery mod shift. Love the way the star is a little gift on card -and with tbe strong colours and twine on the second card, I can certainly imagine a hammock in summer sun. How relaxing that would be! !

awesome challenge Michelle- thanks! I was just talking about California and going to the beach with my scrapbooking buddies last night- so twine and sand was a good combo for me today. I used Verve's Learning to Sail set, and added some sponging, and an embossed background from a stamping buddy, along with torn paper. Here's Beach Time!

Fun challenge today! I used embroidery thread for mine 'twine'. I also saw a card done from Arizona Maine and knew I had to case it!! Here is her card.

Michelle- great challenge, had to do another one! Used MFT's PI Ladybug for my central image and sentiment, and a Lavender stamp from MFT. Created some "grass" for my lavender and for a foreground, and paper pieced the ladybug and the sentiment. Here's Sweet Little Bug, dedicated to my DD who I love very much!

Wow! Haven't had a chance to play along for a while. Here is my card (front & inside) for today's challenge. The twine. Is on the dark brown vertical & horizontal strips. TFL!
Slightly more imaginative - and having this challenge in mind really helped me out with adding a sentiment to this card. Thanks, Michelle! MIX72 Hot Stitchin'
