This week the inspiration site selection is Design Love Fest. The creative blogger and designer behind Design Love Fest is Bri Emery. Bri is everything fresh and happy - and her style is very caffeinated to me - LOL! It was created in 2009 out of Bris own obsession with type and images. Design Love Fest rapidly became a daily read for over twenty thousand people, thanks to Bris exquisitely curated layouts featuring bright colors and style, mixed with witty typography and a flair for the unexpected. This is one of those sites that I suggest you just let your hair down and play around with! There are TONS of varied and diverse images to inspire you and that you can take in any direction at all. My Card
Challenge Goals: Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today .
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Design Love Fest.
Use the keyword: IC442 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded five of my favorites...so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger. Please let us know which photo, or photos, served as your inspiration piece in your description please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie- great site, thanks! I was inspired by the Salmon Taco picture on the front page of this cool site- with its yellow hue and streaky turquoise background. I used a cute birthday set (unmarked) and added a dc star and a pair of hearts. Added some pizazz with stickles and raspberry yarn/magenta polka dot trims. Here's Star Wish

So much inspiration on this site, it was mind-boggling! I came across a bedroom wall painted in pastel hexagons and I love it! After yesterdays assault on everyone's eye with my fluorescent card, I thought this would be perfect - soft and toned W-A-Y down. Here are my pastel hexagons

I brushed the chalk in the corner to try and make it different shaded, like the example I chose to case. this was such a fun challenge --- who knows maybe I will try another one!

Inspired by the modern kitchen with the gold, orange and black- about 10 frames down in the post- I used "new to me" Costume Bears- SU set for my main image. The kitchen's gold geometric backsplash influenced my gold embossed background, and the buttons are my round images like the barstools. Here's Modern Bear
