Default Digital Stamp how-to article

I just thought this article was so thorough and well written! Maybe the information will help demystify digital stamps for those who are still in a learning process.

I realize this is a couple of years old, but it has some information I have been looking for. Is any one aware of a similar tutorial that is more recent? Specifically I am looking for information on how to remove watermarks when printing digis.
I should add I am rather technically challenged!

Watermarks on an image usually indicate the stamp is pirated (stolen). A digital image legally purchased will have no watermark.

Thanks for your input.
After I posted this I realized I probably shold not have called it a watermark. It is a company logo, and it appears on some items I have won as prizes and on some that were offered as freebies, so they should certainly have been legal to use.
