Can you believe this is our 6th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2013 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2014! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2014! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2014 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc14may"

Challenge 2014
This is where we'll have links to the Weekly Challenges! These are GREAT for Inspiration, we have Terrific Hostess and let's try to support them as much as possible!
So I managed 26 pages last month with a YTD of 42. Feelin' pretty good for this month already since I've got 3 layouts in various stages of production, so my goal for this month will be....30. Imma just go for it!
Barely met my goal...6 pages, that brings my ytd to 39. Not sure if I'll get any pages done for May, so I'm passing this month up! I'll peek in and leave lots of love when I can. Take care everyone. Happy Mother's Day!!

I did 6 pages last month instead of 5 (yay) and am up to 36 pages this year (double yay). I'll set this month's goal to 8 - and I already uploaded my first of the month that I did last night. Yay, yay, yay!
I did 13 this month. Guess I made up for none in March. So I have my totals updated in my siggy. I will say 10 for May. I already have several started for VSBN this Sat! And even though I will be gone for a while, I think I can do it. . Hope you all are planning on playing Sat! Chek out the VSBN challenges already posted. . I got 5 of my 10 pages completed in April, which puts my YTD at 40. I am excited at the thoughts that maybe my life may be getting a little calmer. I am going to set my goal at 15 this month, because I am really excited to be able to play at VSBN this month. plus it is national scrapbook month... And the Kentucky Derby!
Digiscrapper? -- or thinking about it? FREEBIES!!!
Digiscrappers!! Every 3 months, there is a fabulous blog train -- Digiscrap Parade. It has fabulous FREEBIES! Some are just available on Facebook, but many also offer their portions via their blogs, etc. This quarter's collection is available for the month of May, starting today. It's definitely worth a look:
I'm still on a scrapping break, so I'm only shoot for 2 pages in May. I've been down with a bug for most of 3 weeks, just starting to feel like myself again. Been using what little crafting time I've had reorganizing, getting caught up with digi pages that need printing and spending time making cards with my mom. I hope to get back on the scrapping train soon!
I completed 14 layout in April. Didn't quite meet my quota, but I ended up not doing the digi pages I thought I would, so 14 paper pages is pretty good! My YTD is 46 layouts, and please put me down for 20 in May. Finished up my first one this morning:
Already pages in the May gallery on day 1, that's awesome!
I was planning to scrap tonight but I'm down with the flu. Hoping I am much better tomorrow.I am so excited to be headed to a crop this month with friends, it has been a long time since I have had a chance to go. Between NSD and the crop, I hope to get 30 pages done.

I fizzled out the past few days! I had an allergic reaction to, I think, an antibiotic, that has just kicked me to the curb! All red, blotchy, itchy, and exhausted this week-so not much scrapbooking in the evenings this week. I did meet my goal, but my numbers are definitely decreasing each month, and I still have so many pages to do, just to finish up 2011,
To add to that, I actually got out of the house last week, did some things and have new pics to scrap!!
So, I will set my goal at 30 for the 30 days in May and see how it works out.
Wendy, I sure hope you are feeling better!

Good morning all...
So excited, I am home all weekend, all by myself, to watch Kentucky Derby, stamp, scrap, and craft my way through a whole stack of many missed chick-flicks!! Now watch... I will get nothing done. Lol!
Boo to all the sickness that's affecting our scrappy friends! Hope you all get better soon. On another note, the Stash Busters Week 1 challenge is posted. Sorry it wasn't up yesterday, but I had to work on the layout for my monthly sketch challenge that falls on the 1st. Come join in the fun!
I managed to get the 5 pages done for the various challenges, and that seems to be working for me so I will stick with the 5. I am rounding up the goodies for Week 1 Stashbusters to take with me today to a crop with friends. I hope to log onto BPC and follow along there and on SCS today as well. If nothing else I will get 1 page done and my cards for Mother's Day and maybe the Wedding card I need this month!

Enjoy NSD everyone!
Lucky you! What a GREAT Day to be headed to a Crop! Have Fun
Happy Saturday and Esp Happy NSD! I'm finishing another layout now and am excited to scrap the day away. I was hoping to have more of my challenge pages done prior to Saturday but the flu bug put me down this week. I haven't had the flu in years ... ugh. Looks like I'll just have to get more done today and tomorrow

A big goose egg for April and most likely the same for May. I actually am in my craft room but cleaning it up vs. playing for fun :(. I hope you are all enjoying your day!

I remember not too long ago where I had several "Senior" and "Graduation" Months for both my sons and I did not get pages done, probably less those years than any others so ... if it's any consolation, the awesome part is you'll have GREAT photos to scrap when life gets a little calmer ;)

I totally, completely missed the VSBN and the fact that it was even National Scrapbooking Day! Oh well...I got a page done tonight, putting me to 1 of 12 for May. haha... I updated my signature below, and here's my page, using the Inspiration/Photo challenge from VSBN.
Had to spend a bunch of time editing photos, but now that's done and the prints have been ordered  And I've got a few more pages to share!
Stratford-Upon-Avon (I finished this one in April but didn't get it uploaded)
Super Birthday #30 (This LO was mostly done, I just needed some reprints to finish it off...and that "title block" is a photo of the shipping label my mom put on the box of stuff she sent my hubs for his birthday that year)
Hmm...thought I had posted this page this morning in this thread...I was hoping to have done a few pages last month but ended up with none. I've got another page almost done..just looking for a few more embellishments before finishing up. I have to find an external hard drive to look for more files. Maybe tonight after DGS goes to bed.

I finally finished the 2nd page I started yesterday on DGS Crossover ceremony back in February. I used the Theme Challenge #3 (Graduation) for this page. The Crossover in scouting is a graduation ceremony of the cub scout moving on to a boy scout. I was looking for the fleur di le but downloaded one of the patches he actually wears on his shirt which has one on it. I also used the clone tool since some of the letters on the individual words were hidden due to the boys' holding them up for the audience to see while they read the descriptions off the back of the boards. They placed these boards on a "bridge" which they then walked over to get to their new troops that they had chosen to continue their journey with. (thereby the Crossover title)
