APRIL 2014 Mission-Cards For A Cause
2014 Cards For A Cause
April MISSION Stamp from the Heart!
ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Community Pregnancy Center Description of Organization:
Description of Organization: CPC was started by 2 women who wanted to help those in crisis pregnancies (those who did not want to be pregnant and were considering ending their pregnancy). Those efforts included not only being there to offer a listening ear, a calming influence, and a ray of hope, but also as a companion for the journey and support after birth. These goals continue.
CPC offers free pregnancy tests, education (birth control, STD, etc), maternity clothing, baby & toddler clothing (up to 4T), cribs, mattress, car seat, strollers, formula, diapers....all at no cost. They also offer a layette package for newborns which includes just about everything you need to get started (bottles, outfits, sheets, towels, etc).
CONTACT PERSON: Teresa - va.sunshine
Referred by: Fellow SCSer-Zella/russnzella
TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED: They recently contacted Zella and said they are in need of Baby, Thank You's and blank cards. They also use Birthday cards as well as any other theme. Please include envelopes if possible. SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: Religious/scriptures are welcomed. Please keep in mind that this is a faith based organization so anything "adult" themed/image would probably not be a good idea

Barberton, Ohio 44203

Just stopping by to say HI and ask for your prayers. I still plan on making cards for this month's cause, but had to finish my Operation Write Home Father's Day cards first. My father finally left this earth to go drink tea with Jesus and his old Army buddies on Saturday, so the therapeutic value of making cards is even more important for me now. Please keep my mother in your prayers as she is slipping away quickly. Thank you all so much for listening and for providing a place for me to send cards!

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. It is so comforting to know your Dad is with Jesus. Blessings to you and hugs.

My 12 cards went to the post office today. Sorry for the late post. I have spring fever! I was happy to send cards to this month's group. I've been to Barberton a few times as my aunt lived there for many years.
