I did say I was getting ahead of myself, this is Magda`s birthday card for April 10th, I`ve also used it for the challenge F4A209 to use Hexagon shapes.
A 50th card for our friends in England, I had to make a box for the card and then ended up having to make the box depth smaller to fit inside an envelope as I didn`t realise I wouldnt see them before their big day, they just had to cancel their flights to Spain as Peter is ill again so I`m hoping he will be well enough for the big party on Saturday.
I have to come up with a card for DH for the 18th. He is a big Dr Who fan and last year I did a Tardis card for him. Not sure for this year yet. I also have a friend that is having a birthday on the 13th. I will probably send a card from my stash, although she is a huge Mickey Mouse fan and I could get one done in a hurry!
I am probably forgetting someone, I have never made myself a perpetual calendar to keep up with things, maybe I should get on that too!
Jeanne have you looked on google images for Mickey Mouse, my DH uses it all the time when he has to make posters.
I have a list in my documents file that I update and print out every year so I can tick them off as I make them and strike them out when they are in the post. I must admit it's not a list. Of hundreds so pretty easy really to keep up.
My second card for April for our friend in England. The only other card is an 11th Wedding Anniversary Card for our DS2 and DIL but Im using the card in a Box that I made for a challenge so thats me finished for April.
Ina, you talking about a trip in a balloon reminded me of my SIL, it was her fortieth birthday present to have a trip, her birthday is November so it took until the following April until the weather was good enough, getting out of the balloon she slipped on wet grass and broke her ankle, had plaster on her leg for months and still has problems with it, not a birthday treat she forgot in a hurry.
oh no! That's too bad. Was the balloon ride something she had been wanting to do? So sorry she is still struggling wth the effects.
My story is this. My SIL gave me two tickets to ride for my birthday, hoping I would invite her to join me, which I did. However, the weather was not cooperating that summer. Anytime that I had time off, the ride was cancelled because of high winds, or something else. So it was put off until the next summer. During the winter, my SIL fractured her pelvis and her doctor advised her against going on the balloon ride, so she had to find someone else for this treat. We did have one more cancellation, but finally got to go out the following August. It was awesome! There was fog over the river. Here is one photo I took.

Amazing photo Ina, I can imagine it being lovely up there, I can't remember now if it was something jean had always wanted to do, it's 24years ago! We had all planned to have a weekend away so we could spend some time together with Steve's eldest brother and his wife too as their mum had just passed away but Jean could only sit in the back seat of the car with her leg along the seat, she is nearly six feet tall, anyway it was too uncomfortable for a long journey so they didn't make it.
One of the girls I work with is moving on to a new job and so I need to make a Good Luck/Miss You card to give her on Friday. I hope my tired brain can come up with something.
I finally did a card! I need two sympathy cards to send this week and 4 birthday cards.
Here is my first sympathy card , also for the Featured stamper challenge.
Here is a masculine card. I think I can use it for a birthday or just thinking of you either one. I did it for the Color and for the Sketch challenges. Thinking of You.
