Default How much time do you spend crafting

I work at least 2 nights during the week making cards. I normally go out there at 6:30 p.m. and come in around 9:00 p.m.

I also go out there after church and lunch and spend at least 4 or 5 hours out there.

I try to spend a few hours every day - if it's sunny, I go out back and color for a bit before dinner. If I don't have time for that, I like to zentangle in front of the TV before I go to sleep - I don't like to watch TV without something to do.

My only reliable time is every two weeks when my cousin and I make cards together. Otherwise it's whenever I can snatch some time for it, which is usually about twice a week.

I try to get at least an hour in on the weekends.

I keep an ongoing project out at one end of my dining room table and work on things when I have a few minutes here and there during the week.

I craft about 30 hours a week. I use my creative skills to stamp, bead, crochet and sew. I'd do more but i have arthritis in my top 5 vertabrae and the nature of the crafting beast causes it to flare up horribly. If I do too much it will take me out for a day or two.

I work full time with a >1 hour commute each way. So my only craft time is on the weekend. I try to get in a few hours each day.

Do you count all the time I spend THINKING about stamping???? Browsing websites "window shopping"??? Looking at Pinterest and SCS???Because that is lots of my waking hours. Usually I like to spend Saturdays and Sundays making cards and swaps during the daylight hours. I can create all day if I get started as soon as I eat breakfast. Even though I could spend my evenings stamping I don't because it's just too dark for my brain and eyes to want to do anything.

Arlene, you are so right! When someone asks me how long it takes me to make a card, I tell them 2 hours to think it up and 15 minutes to assemble it.

not counting thinking about it and browsing the net, about 3 hours a week (all on the weekend).

Only when I need a card! Maybe once or twice a month. It's always been that way......

I've been making cards for about eight years and I've rarely put in more time than that!
