Oh Chester Don't Pester, the Children Need Play Time!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! This is my story!
1. Belinda Bailey had always loved kids. Her dream was to open a nursery school to nurture young minds and make the little ones feel loved and safe. When after years of hard work and red tape she was finally able to open her school everyone was overjoyed.
2. Belinda made sure that her kids had plenty of time to play outside - and designed a special jungle gym with a transportation theme. There was an airplane cockpit, a school bus swing set, a ramp that led to the captain's bridge of a boat, and a train with two slides. There were cars and trucks that were foot powered - all to get the kids moving and using their imaginations. School days weren't quite the same on days the children stayed inside because of bad weather.
3. Belinda's school was in a nice neighborhood, but old Chester Curmudgeon who lived down the street wasn't so nice. He didn't like the sign in front of the school. He didn't like the traffic from the parents dropping their children off. But most of all, he didn't like to hear the squeals of delight as the children played outside on their special playground, and decided that enough was enough.
4. Chester started a campaign to keep the kids from playing outside. He called the town hall every day complaining that they were a noise nuisance and that they were impinging on his right to peace and quiet. He called the police to complain about the disturbance that they made. He even called the town newspaper to complain about the lack of response from the public officials.
5. The mayor couldn't take it anymore. He visited the school on the first sunny day in a long time and lo and behold, the children were a bit noisy! Playing happily outside, there were shrieks of joy, children calling to their friends across the playground and little boys making engine sounds as they moved their vehicles about. He told Belinda that if she couldn't keep the children as quiet as church mice that the playground would have to be torn down and that the children would have to play inside. Oh Chester don't pester, the children need play time! If you want only silence then live with a stage mime!
Well Teapotters, we need to help these little ones out! We need 42,000 Teapotters to provide kid transportation and we need it fast!! Here is a bit of musical inspiration this week...there is even a special cameo by Curt!!:

CHALLENGE TRANSLATION:
Make transportation-themed cards that are appropriate for sending to children.
*NOTE* leave them blank inside so Linda can send them out to "her kids"
EPEC ~ (EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA COOKIES!)
Include an inspirational sentiment.
DESTINATION STATION:

SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Ack - I'm too busy just now. First time I get to make one on the day and I totally spaced on the fact that I wanted to use the VSN sunburst challenge. Well - I'll just try and make another card tomorrow and send them both to Linda.
Hey ladies what a wonderful suprize Thanks you all for the little help hands. To brighten the kids face. I have not decide where to send the cards yet. There our so many kids who need a little cheer these day. I have not gotten around to thanks each of you yet. But, I will soon. I have started a kids card box. and will mail them soon. Love this challenge to help Linda (aka hotwheels) with cards for the kids. While looking for a bird or butterfly stamp for another project, I found this set of vehicle stamps so thoughts I would make another card! Sorry about the lighting on the right side of the card! Thanks for looking!

Linda....so glad you are starting to get some fun cards....I still have to get mine finished...all this work is cutting into my play time.....
the new and improved updated snail mail list will go out in couple weeks so you should get copy then. The other one is a bit old, if you need address sooner, let me know and can get older copy to you.
Hey I got card in mail that's not in the gallery. I can't find her. She said Susan But can't make her last name out. starts with coo And shed not on the tea potters Listed But, Her said she was from the tea potters. So I don't her screen name? or who this person is? Thanks to Iran For gives me the updated tea potters list. Dose anyone know if We have new members of the teapotters that is not on the update list? Susan is the only one I have not thank presonally!
Will I have teapotters card in the mail. All can make Susan Coo something can't read her writing And I don't see the card in the gallery. Or I don't know her screen name. So that why I ask! thanks hotwheels

I know sometimes if people don't have time to make a card for the challenge but still want to send one to the destination, they use a suitable one from their stash. I've done it myself - maybe that's the case.
I email her so we will see what she said thanks hotwheels!

, I only found it because suddenly this morning after I read your PM about it not being One4Joy, I remembered approving that card last week; and I remembered because the card description and those little trucks made me almost sure it was for this challenge so I had sent her a PM explaining about how it wouldn't show in the challenge gallery without the right keywords. But since I wasn't 100% sure it was for the challenge, I didn't really feel it was appropriate for me to edit the keyword :? . But I was able to find it again by looking at my sent PMs.
Anyway, I'm glad that the mystery is solved and that you're able to thank her.
I am was able thanks her too! Thanks for your help!!! I wrote her to saying please put screen name on envelop next time too! thanks hotwheels
