This is one of the Shoebox events I look forward to each year! Getting my registration in right away so I don't miss out - can't wait to see everyone again!
Great ladies can't wait to see you. If anyone out there wants try a shoebox this is the one. This core group of ladies is wonderful and helpful. As Cyndi Lauper says " Girls just wanna have fun!"

I started working on my ideas today - next Saturday is a retreat day for me so I need to have all of my ideas together to take along and work on there! It's starting to feel like spring is just around the corner! (at least in my craft room, that is!)
Cant believe the head start i have. I guess first time for everything lol. Have my card 80% done. Abac idea sample done. Bag sample done. Recipe card 90% done. Still thinkin bout secret sister tho. Well i least i started. Cant wait! !!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your prompt return of forms and payment. It makes it so much easier when that happens. Numbers will be out at the beginning of next week. I want to give any last minute mail ins to get here by Monday. Happy Stamping!!!!!!!!
I'll be in Madison crafting all day on Saturday - sure wish I had my ideas together so I could take along only the supplies I need! Oh well, my car has a big trunk - I may as well fill it up!
After slipping & sliding over to the bakery yesterday to start my day (YUP, got my sweet fix before anything!), I decided not to go to Madison. I crafted all day at home - my card sample is done, my secret-sister gift is almost done, I know what I'm doing for my ABC as long as that sample turns out cute tonight - just have to print and make my recipe cards! I'm hoping that Sue or Sheri opens the mail tomorrow to find TONS more people signed up this weekend!
Hi Stampin Sisters- we officially have 14 ladies for the shoebox. That is a great number.
He are the counts:
Cards- Please make two- one to display and one for your station. Make 13 kits for everyone else to complete.
ABAC- Please make 10 and you will receive 10
6X6 recipe card- Please make 10 and you will receive 10
Decorated bags- Please make 7 and you will receive 7
Lottery/ Stampin Sista Gift. Please bring one to exchange. Value should be aprox. $20. There are 11 of us in this.
I am really looking forward to meeting new friends and connecting with old friends I haven't seen for awhile. I have got my recipe card done, started on my
ABAC, sample card done and started putting together kits, have an idea for my bag still working on it. If any thing changes I will let everyone know as soon as possible. I do not expect anymore ladies but sometimes mail is delayed.
Sheri can you please pick me up like 4 more packs of Prismapencil caps with the little sharpener?
Unfortunately, we don't carry the caps anymore and I tried to special order them, but the minimum order is way to high. Sorry Mel, I have been working on this for the past few weeks. When I am out and about I will keep and eye on them and call you if I see anything similar.
Wish I could join all of you - have enjoyed these shoeboxes! One of my daughters is getting married in 3 months and we are busy! Afterwards - I will be joining again! Have fun!

Thank you for a wonderful day! Everything was so organized and "ready to go." The prizes were amazing, and the food was fantastic. Loved that salad--thank you for it! Oh, and all those treats, snacks and desserts...could easily have gained 10 lbs. today had I let myself eat as much as I wanted to!
To all the participants, you also were the very best. Loved all your creations, and I was blessed to be part of this event because of each of you! Hope you all got home safely and that the hosts are able to now sleep deeply and well tonight.
Another wonderful Shoebox Event - THANK YOU for everything! Deanna's technique on the piano/rose card was my highlight of something new I've been wanting to try - now I've tried it and can't wait to use it again!
Thank You for another wonderful swap!! It was fun to see friends I've missed for so long and meet new friends! Can't wait for the next one so we can all see each other again As ALWAYS the food, prizes and EVERYTHING was top notch!!!!

Thanks Sue and Sheri for putting on such an awesome swap again. I had such a great time with everyone. Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful items you made. I got a few new ideas that I will have to try.
I am always amazed how so many crafty ladies come up with so many great creations and no duplicates. Love coming every year.
