Welcome to Teapot Tuesday the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teapotters and Challenge #284 for January 7, 2014
Not just gal pals, but Bosom buddies.
We'll always be bosom buddies, coworkers and pals; We'll always be bosom buddies, If life should derail you, I'll always avail you.
Essie: If you're thirsty, I know what you crave I'll bring you some Pepsi; I know it's your fave.
Kip: If you are hungry, I've got your back. Salt and vinegar chips are the perfect snack.
Essie: If you want to go to the beach don't forget to bring the dog's leash. So we and the pups can enjoy the sand and surf a change from their usual walking turf.
Essie and Kip: It's simply that who else but a bosom buddy will be there for you when you feel cruddy. If you need a ride I'll be by your side. We're in this together in cold or fair weather.
Essie and Kip work together. Kip found a lump and Essie is no chump. She volunteered to go with Kip to her appointments. A caring girlfriend is like a soothing ointment. What goes around comes around, shortly after Kip's surgery, Essie found a lump. Kip now accompanies Essie to her appointments.
Essie (aka Elke) and Kendra (aka Kip) work together, enjoy taking their dogs to the beach and sneak out for Pepsi and salt & vinegar chips. Elke supported Kendra when she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly after Kendra's surgery, Elke found a lump. These bosom buddies are now fighting breast cancer together.
Challenge translation: Bring bosom buddies, girlfriends, support systems, or dogs and the color pink.
Extra points for extra cookies: Make two cards one for Kendra and one for Elke.
This week our destination is Canada.

I guess I should have coloured the dog's leash pink - I'll do that before I mail it!!
I made identical cardsfor Kendra & Elke. Thank you Lynn for sending me the bases for the cards. My MIL passed away and I have been on the phone the last 2 days much of the time. Hence the sloppy look to the necklace.
I made one for each great friend. was hungry for dessert...lol.... Bosom Buddies

Wow! I haven't been to a tea party in FOREVER!!! What a great one to jump back in on. I made two of these for our guests of honor. This is the inside .
I was a bit taken aback by one of the recipients (Elke) of this weeks cards. Back a couple of years ago I took part in the Secret Sisters Challenge and she was my secret sister. She is a wonderful person and I'm sad she has to go through this. Look closely at the bra, it is 3D. To make sure it doesn't crush in the mail I glued a large half pearl behind each cup. HERE is my card.

Long on wishes, short on time, I used a lot of inspiration for Kendra's card from this week's challenges (there is a doggie inside!) Here is my Believe card.

I am going in for my surgery on feb 20th.
