Before we get started, there is a special announcement/survey thread I'd like for you to read this week. You don't want to miss it!
I can't believe there are 4 pages of stalking!
Now on with the show! Please putLSC57in the keyword box when you upload.
White and vanilla are independent this week!
This week was inspired by the lovely creations of JulieHRR. I love her simple style with using an all white or vanilla base card without full card front layers. Sometimes she doesn't use layers at all, and it looks marvelous! I linked a couple of her cards as samples, but there are more so you may just want to jog on over to her gallery, today!
Stamps: any
Cardstock: white or vanilla (If you're using additional colors of cardstock, it should be as an accessory layer, not a whole card front layer. Hope this makes sense. The samples should help.)
Ink: any
Embellishments: any
Techniques: Any that leaves the cardstcok still mostly white or vanilla. No brayering a whole different color ;-)
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

They don't call her the "Royal Rubberness" for nothing! ;) She is awesome! If you get the chance, it is fun to read her blog, "Paper Trufflez". (Julie, I hope I spelled that right).
Thanks for the challenge. I won't be able to get much stamping done until after Sunday, so I am looking forward to jumping in after everyone else and getting back into the grooves of these wonderful challenges. !
Good morning! Great idea, Jen - I absolutely loved your VSN card when I saw it. I'll have to wait until later to play (unless I can whip one up quick right now...) it's my last "vacation day" (can't count the weekend!) so I have big plans for breakfast w/ some friends and a beach walk w/ some others... We'll see!
Jen what a great challenge -- and a real stretch for me. Hope to have some time later today or tonight to get this one done! Today is a very busy day here!
Morning!!! Geesh...I guess they are called challenges for a reason huh??
I am a tad freaked out about this one but sooo going to try it...All the rest of you seem to have it going on...whenever I try a very white or very vanilla card...well let's just say they are cards "only a mother could love" LOL!!!
I don't have time to play this week, but this is my kind of challenge because MOST of my cards are like this! Anyway, here's one I made a LONG time ago, which was really quick, I really liked and fits the challenge: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
oooh, found another one. I really liked these...they were fun to put together...the white card is adhered to a pink backing... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Keri your so FUNNY! I'm sure your white/very vanilla cards are Great!
Umm no I kid you not...I am in the process of uploading the three I just did so you can see what I am talking about....I have a really hard time doing cards like this...
Here's one I made the other day (note to self...get rid of the cheap white paper, the mistakes on the dry embossing!!) Actually, this was the first time I've done dry embossing....any tips on getting the look smooth? Thanks in advance....don't know if I'll get to play today...last day of DS's spring break and we are off to the Living Desert!Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
