December Monthly Scraplift Challenge - SPLT13Dec

This is an EASY challenge .

All you do is sign up and then you will SCRAPLIFT and post your layout of the person who signed up before you! Please be sure to post a link to the original layout as well.

What is a Scraplift? A scraplift is when you find a page or pages in that person's gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors, same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar.

Clarification of "How To Participate."
#1. Sign up for this challenge.
#2. See who is in the sign up list ahead of you.
#3. Go to that person's gallery and choose a LAYOUT to lift.
#4. Post your layout along with the original. Please make sure you use KEYWORD: SPLT13dec


Sign ups will continue until December 15th. Layouts must be posted by the 31st!

I have my lift picked, I have a rough sketch drawn on the paper that covers my work space. I have been mauling over a few ideas but need to pick pictures to work with before I go any further. Hopefully I can get papers chosen and start on the stamping/distressing/inking today.

Awesome! Isn't it funny though as soon as you see a page you know what picts you want to scrap, LOL! At least that happens for me and I love that "Aha" moment ;)

It is a great feeling and when you have as many photos as I do (plus online access to DIL's too!) it's not too hard to think of faves that will be perfect!

I have my page worked out, mostly, papers cut, mostly, now I need to add ink, distressing, and glue! Why is it that my pages don't get completely finished until Sunday??!! We are headed out to a Christmas get together in a little while so I won't have my lift ready until tomorrow.

Ok, I'm finally back with my lift from Anavon. Here is her original layout.

And here is mine: My Wish

Usually, I scrap-lift the "sketch" of the layout. This time, I was inspired by how she used lyrics to a song on her layout and I wanted to do the same. I have always loved the lyrics of "My Wish" by Rascal Flats and thought it would be neat to include that in a layout. I love all of the lyrics though so ended up using the entire song!
