Me! I'm excited! I love to see new stuff, though I buy very little. I find it exciting and inspiring to see new products and projects on the manufacturers' blogs. The giveaways are a lot of fun, too! I always check out twopeasinabucket.com for great previews and giveaways. They have challenges, too.
My stores never keep up but it is fun to see what the companies are coming up with. Wonder what the "new" thing will be in 2014.
After the holidays I'm burned out on shopping for anything, I want to curl up and get back to my needlework. I don't think about Valentine's Day cards until late January and make those from my stash.
I love it when they come up with something really new and innovative that's going to make my crafting more fun or easier or gorgeous LOL. I think a good example of that was the envelope punch board last year. They had some mistakes on the size chart at first, but I love to make matching envelopes for my cards and this product is such a timesaver and easy peasy to use and less than $20: win/win/win.

Phantom - Great question. I search YouTube daily and I find/blog and online CHA peek resources from posts right here on SCS.
;;;;;;;;;;;
Skippet - I'll check that out - tfs.

Be still, my heart......right around the corner.....LOL......

For sneak peeks, I check the websites of my favorite manufacturers. Then I can put a bug in the ears of my LSS owners to order good stuff while they are at CHA. Next best thing to being there!
Mary Beth
Don't you love the sneak peeks, then you can say ah that has just come out and I have it.
I don't have any such luck LOL.
My usual process is for me to be refiguring my budget over and over as each day progresses with reveals and demos and my wish list grows and grows with 'gotta haves'...of course this is part of the thrill. And some of these folks (gotta use Tim Holtz as an example) just consistently come up with incredibly innovative products unlike anything out there and all his products work together - he's killing me (and a lot of others out there) bwahahaha...

Excluding new ink and paint products, I typically find a small number of things that I have to have each release. And THANK GOODNESS for that or I'd go broke....
From today's sneak peeks, I'm definitely in for Vol3 of A Compendium of Curiosities and maybe the nature adornments. I'm pretty safe so far LOL.

Totally excited!! We are going and can't wait. The last couple years have been a lot smaller, but it is still so much fun, and a great little girls get away.....and with Disney right there...

I must enjoy CHA vicariously through YouTube and blogs ;)

So, have any of you guys placed any pre-orders yet? What are you getting? Would love to hear from you
I have placed 3 preorders so far for things on my 'must have' list:
1. Compendium of curiosities lll and all of tim's new stencils
2. All the new distress paint colors.
3. Inkpads and reinkers for the new colors of Wendy Vecchi's archival inks.
CHA has not even begun yet - oh my gosh!!! I better scratch what I said above about typically I find a few things.....

Is SCS not doing anything special regarding CHA? I remember when SCS used to attend & have reporters there along with a special forum section to cover the events & show the new products. Kind of like they used to celebrate World Card Making Day with all kinds of special events, prizes & a forum section dedicated specifically to that activity. Neither event seems to gather much in the way of special news, posts or coverage here
anymore.
And my wish list grows with each passing day (as does the placing of pre-orders for 'gotta haves' that cannot wait due to pre-order discounts with free-shipping that may not be offered again so I cannot take a chance of losing such a great deal)
Hope everybody is having fun! And I love seeing all of the fabulous, over-the-top artwork that the artists make for the booths. So fun and so inspiring..........

watch the flower how too, it can be made with the giftbag and the envelope punch ones.... brill. no need to pay out.
Thanks so much for sharing! All of the products are fun to see and I love that you did so many closeups of a lot of cards - great job.
A big bonus for me is that you took a photo of my stamps and sample board for Inky Antics and one of the stamp set with the cat/bird and dog/tortoise .
I'll be looking at all of your photos more closely later today - again, thanks for sharing. I bet you had a great time there!
