Scrapbooking kit/club subscriptions
Do you subscribe to any monthly scrapbooking kits? I don't even know what ones are out there.
Pros? Cons?
Please share!
Thanks,

I used to subscribe to Monthly Scrapbooking Layout Kit Club at The ScrapRoom - www.scrap-room.com . I liked it because I could skip if I didn't like the kit and I liked it because there were four mini kits in a month. I just transitioned into cardmaking and it's not quite as conducive to that, so I dropped it.
I did subscribe to Studio Calico for a bit, but quit because of the price. And no skips allowed.

Thanks, Emily. I'll look at that. I like the option to skip kits you don't care for.

I haven't tried these clubs out, but Taylored Expressions offers a kit, stamp or kit + stamp subscription and Simon Says Stamp also offers a Monthly Card Kit.
Unity has one too, but it's stamps only, I think.
There's another in my brain, but I can't think of who. <scratching head>

Check out Shop SEI. They have a scrap club, card club and general paper crafting club. I think you can buy one to see if you like it before you subscribe. I don't have any of those kits but I've been an SEI customer for years and have always been satisfied with their service and products.

I have been a member of the SEI Scrapbooking club for a few months now. I'm very happy with the amount of supplies you get for the price each month. Two of my months have already included full 12x12 albums. They are every other month and you have the option to skip a month. I believe if you are a member of one of the clubs, you have the option to buy one of the other kits (papercrafting or card) for that month if you really want it. Check on their website for the details.

I have been a member of the SEI Scrapbooking Club for a few years. I receive a kit every other month. The products are always very nice. Some I like better than others, but you have the option to skip if you choose to. I was surpised to receive a Christmas Album this month!! They have a card and paper craft club, but I have never tried them.

I just joined C'est Magnifique Kits & Addons in December, I think the membership is 3-4 months then you can bow out at any time. Or maybe you can bow out at any time?? I didn't pay much attention as I knew I would do the minimum. I have received only one kit so far but I love the fact that they have the harder to find papers (I purchase plenty made in the USA, unfortunately for my wallet).
I can't give you any long term pros or cons about that company as I have not been with them long.
I did have a membership with another site, but after a year I was finding I had too many kits I had not gotten around to using yet, so I quit for a year before I joined another kit club. I have not had any bad things to say about a Kit Club, the two I have joined were what I had expected them to be!

I subscribed to clubSEI for a while and really liked it. I did mainly the paper crafting kit, but sometimes swapped for the card kit. I liked that it was every other month, and that I could skip a month. I was worried about something every month-I don't have a lot of time and didn't want things to pile up. They also provided step by step instructions.
I am inrested in studio calico. Do they
Or vide instructions with their kits?
