WHERE:First upload to your gallery then post a link in the designated thread*.Please use CCC14 in the Title or Keyword so that others can search for your cards!*Please use only the thread that I start for each month or you might be missed. To attach a link here, when the page you want us to go see is open, go to the address bar and 'copy the whole thing' then go to where you want it seen and paste it in the post box. ( step by step instructions with pics in PDF in the below... I made that back in 2011, kinda neat to read again)
WHEN: The whole month! There is no 'deadline' for getting your monthly cards done. This is just a motivational challenge to help you!
HOW: Just post a reply to this thread saying that you want to join, how many cards you will need to do each month and then start creating! if you use Kodak Easy Share DaisyDude shared this info.
For those using Kodak Easy Share:
Click on the pictures you want to resize.
Go to 'File' and choose 'export'
Choose a place to save your pics.
Choose the option 'Specify Size'. The limit for SCS I think is 2048 pixels.
Then hit 'Export'.
You should then be able to upload the resized pics to SCS.
iPhoto is similar. Choose your pics, hit 'export' then use the resize boxes. Neither height nor width can be larger than 2048.
From mustlovecats ..... upload from a Mac and this is what I do.
Open your photo, click on the background of the photo so that Tools appears in the bar at the top. Click on it and then on adjust size. I change the first size to 5, save and then voila it's perfect for uploading.
Not too difficult and I did pretty much the same process when I used windows before
Thanks for starting this again Vikki - I'm almost finished 2013 so it's time to start thinking about 2014! I'll put myself down for 5 a month again, please.
Oh. I would like to have a go in March if this is ok. And next year my goal will be 3 Christmas cards.
It is always to share your cards with you ladies. Thanks a lot for this year challenges and lovely cards.
Elizabeth
I will put my goal at 8 each month again this year. Having the challenges really kept me motivated each month to make my cards. Thank you for putting this together for all of us.
I always have the "BEST" intentions of doing Christmas Cards throughout the year, but it never has happened yet. I'm working on 100 cards, I have three steps to go, my goal is to finish so I can get them mailed out by the first weekend in Dec. Wish me luck!! ;)

I'm in  but, I am not sure how many I think I should be doing yet... 6 a month turned out to be not quite enough this year because, I made some for the booth and some for me and some of what is left over are cards I really don't actually like. or dont have a person in mind to mail them to so they are going to be seed stock for next years booth I guess. ( I made a lot of lets use this stuff up things this year...)
Oh yes, put me down for 5 again. I am about to start doing my Christmas letter to put in with my cards. I have to get them mailed in the next day or two, hopefully before everyone send me cards. Since I have just moved I want them all to get my new address so I don't have to wait for them all to be forwarded. I still have lots of address changes to make. And still have to finish unpacking. Now that my stamps are unpacked it's harder to keep unpacking everything else. I want to stamp instead. It helps keep me sane!

Well, I really fell off the Christmas card making wagon last year really early - back in January. But i'll sign up again this year....10 per month and hope that I can stick with it.
I got behind in 2013 on my monthly Christmas Cards but I want to sign up for 2014, I'll do 5 a month. Thanks so much Vikkijo for hosting again and keeping us in line
Somehow I got all the cards done by 11/30, but I was terrible about keeping up with the challenge this year. So, hey, I can only do better next year, right? At the very least, I have a plan of attack in my head. So sign me up for 4 cards per month for 2014.
Can you please clarify, do the months have themes or do you just post whatever you made that month (lets say Jan) in the January thread?
Thank you
The months do have challenges but you don't have to do them, you can do what you want. Then post in the thread, or link to your gallery, whatever you'd like!

Ok, having started writing my cards and finding a stash from last year, I'm going to lower my monthly goal to 3 cards. And I'm going to make them flatter - most of this year's cards would need extra postage so I'm hoping to hand deliver them or include them when I'm posting a present too!
Thats my goal next year, to make smaller cards that don't cost extra postage, I tried this year but failed on most although I did cut down on square ones for posting as they cost a fortune to post from here.
I will try to join this year. I am gone try to do 5 or 6 a month. Might have to take the summer off but not sure yet. Might also have a new baby in the house so we shall have to see how that works out. But I am gonna try!
I just finished mailing my cards, and I added a few names to my list this year (my cycling team keeps adding new riders, so I keep having to add names). I have just enough left over to give to coworkers in person, and then keep 1 of each design for myself.
I think I'll keep my quota at 10 for next year, but may have a month or two where I make a few more, just to be sure.
