Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending 12/1/13
Can you believe it is December already? Wow! Where has this year gone to? I'm super excited to be starting the weekly Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites thread tonight for the very first time.
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists. There are really only two "rules" here on the thread: The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
Need help linking your Favorites?
Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button
Well, now that all the housekeeping tasks are out of the way, let me get things started with some of the CAS stars I found this week:
CAS248, Ombre Snowflake by k dunbrook I do believe this is one of the prettiest ombre cards I have come across.
CAS248 Christmas Gift by Arizona Maine I loved the embossed dots, the pretty fonts in the sentiment, the layout, but especially, the fun red bow on the stack of packages
CAS Winter Scene by kittie747 Kittie's winter scene had me wanting to take a walk in the woods after a new fallen snow
Warmest Wishes by Lisa Lisa I really loved the unexpected colors and the added bling
Let it Snow! by Loll Thompson I loved how pretty the sponged and glittered snowflake came out
Merry Monday Dove by susanbri OMG, I could not stop looking at this white on white, very textured beauty!
CAS248 In the Pines by naturecoastcrafter I really liked how the colorwash background grounded the card, while still allowing for lots of whitespace.
Thinking of You Now and Always by Bar I really like how Barbara anchored the card's bold elements with a lot of white so that nothing looks crowded
Now it's your turn -- what cards/projects had you ooohing and aaahing this week?
Wow! This week sure had some great CAS cards! And Debbie mentioned some I saved...like Karen's ombre snowflake, Kittie's winter scene, and Bar's thinking of you card.
Thanks Diane and Karen!!! Yayness....made my day!!!

Thank you Karen (K dunbrook) for the notification and Susan (susanbri) for making this day so special by mentioning my card. It's so dreary outside, but you've added sunshine to my day!

Thank you, Jen (Miss Boo) for mentioning my Thanksgiving card and Karen (k dunbrook), for the notification. You brought a smile to my face on this dreary day
Sorry for the late post but I just happened on both of your comments. Occasionally, I have problems receiving SCS notification of comments and there are three right now that I've never received:(
