Would you like stamp companies to offer cutting/SVG files?
I wish that more and more stamp companies would offer digital cutting files along with their dies, that match a stamp set. I know Waltzingmouse does but haven't seen many other. So I was wondering if it's just me or are there others who wish the same?
Absolutely I'd love it! I've been trying to figure an "easy" way to make cut files, with my Cameo, of the stamps I already have that don't have dies or cut files.
Doesn't Gina K also have cutting files for her stamps? I usually make my own if I really want one, but that's where digital stamps really come in handy - super easy to bring into the program to print & cut with my CraftRobo or Zing.
You can make cut files in My Digital Studio for Stampin' Up digital or regular stamp designs too. You can try a 30 day free trial of MDS to play around with it, and there's tons of videos and forums to watch ways to use it.

I make my own files too. I voted it would be nice to have digital cutting files. Some days I just don't want to deal with the time or frustration in designing, especially complex files.

Is there an easy (and I do mean really super easy for this design challenged person) to make digital cut files from the stamps I already own?

When I'm very motivated, I make my own but I would love love love if the companies would make them for me
And Flourishes is so reasonable!! $1 per cut file for a complete stamp set!! That's a steal!
Thank you so much for the link! Absolutely a no-brainer to do now that I've watched it...I'm sure I'll have to watch a few more times though...hard to teach an old brain to retain what's been seen. ;)

Phantom beat me to it recommending Clever Someday's video's. ! Kay is amazing with digital crafts. Her book The Color Printer Idea Book : 40 Really Cool and Useful Projects to Make with Any Color Printer!: Kay Hall: 9781886411203: Amazon.com: Books completely got me hooked on digi designing and printing. I found her book by accident at the library one day. I read it three times before I had to return it. I kept checking it out all through the nineties. When I found out we were both posting at the same forums I was like all star struck ga-ga, lol. I highly recommend Kay's video's.
Debbie is a sweetie. She is just amazing with her Silhouette Cameo.
I have such old school habits with my designing. I design in Inkscape. I like Corel Draw & Adobe Illustrator too. Inkscape & Draw are my favorite. Like my DH loves to say "I don't do anything the easy way!"
