~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
November 18
CAS247 - Inspired by Music
KEYWORD: CAS247
It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries.
Let's leave some love for our DT alums who have made some amazing samples for us this week!
Uploading : Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration, showcase the CAS style and to get us stamping!
Since I combined your challenge with the TLC for today, I used the music as a bg......kind of like the music we are hearing in the bg now when we go shopping. : ) Thanks, Harriet.
Really slow computer connection so I'll have to stop back later for commenting, but here are my two cards inspired by the Christmas song "Deck the Halls". Maybe it is just because all my Christmas stuff is down in my garage at the moment or from working at the shop where my card rack is and seeing it all decked out, but I'm anxious to decorate my home this year when I haven't been much motivated to do so in past years. Hi Everyone...don't fall over but I actually got a CAS card done...cas is so out of my field...and I find them hard...cause I usally have to cover up some mistake or smear somewhere....
Thanks for the challenge - I made 2 cards - which are also for the November Christmas Fan Club Challenge of Window In/Out.
I was inspired by the song "Winter Wonderland" as this is one my favourite Christmas songs. I used to sing in an all-girl group before I became a Carer last year and we used to visit Nursing Homes and sing Christmas songs (and Winter Wonderland was one of them) to the residents. It was wonderful to see how many of them responded to the music even though they could no longer communicate due to Alzheimer's or Dementia - and even if they didn't seem to be interested or appeared asleep, their little finger or their foot would be tapping along to the music
