With the holidays right around the corner I've been seeing a lot of wreaths on cards. Since I don't own any wreath dies I must make my own from punches, twine, buttons....whatever I have on hand.
So today's challenge is just that....
Make a wreath for your card/project with something OTHER than a wreath die.
I know that last week the Ways To Use It Challenge was to use a wreath but as Cathy and I talked about it we realized that my challenge would be a little different as you're building a wreath. Hers was to use a wreath and most went with a stamp.
I didn't use punches to build my wreath, I used reverse masking instead. Here's my card .

For today's wreath building challenge, I had this darling angel image from a stamping buddy, which I adorned with a MB star wreath, made from a holiday luncheon napkin. Added some adhesive copper pearls, and a dc heart and flower/button combo. Here's Angel Wreath

Here's my card for today's challenge. I used rhinestone snowflakes to create my wreath. It was kind of hard to get a good pic. It does look pretty good in real life. :-)
I loved everyones' wreaths; they gave me lots of inspiration for a future Christmas card. I usually make 100 of a specific card and won't use this idea this year but maybe next year. Some are cute, some elegant but all are wonderful. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Am blown away by the wonderful designs here: haven't made any wreath cards for a couple of years but am inspired to do some more - next Christmas, though, as I've long finished my cards for this year.
Hello! This challenge was fun! It was great to see how innovative everyone was coming up with different types of wreaths. Two of my wreaths are named the same thing which tells you how early in the morning it was. lol
Here is my card, for the, TLC456, challenge. I had fun making this one. thanks for this fun challenge, and thanks for looking.
