TLC455 ~ Revisiting Paper Piecing ~ (11/11/13)
Hello everyone....it's Joan with this weeks TLC!! This week we are going to revisit a past TLC which happens to be paper piecing!!!
How about making this a little more interesting....let's add another technique as a bonus!!! You get extra points if you use a little washi tape (real or faux)....Woot!!!!
Let's make it more interesting yet....you can use paper piecing, or washi tape, or both...what ever trips your trigger!!!

Washi tape is a decorative craft tape...If you don't have washi tape you can make it..here is a Splitcoast tutorial for Faux Washi tape.

We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.

Hey is something going on with the gallery this morning?? I don't see any of the cards that seem to have been loaded this morning...I can pull them up from this thread but the gallery only seems to include 6 cards (Susie's is the most recent).??? :confused:

Looks like we have a disappearing challenge gallery...usually when this happens the powers that be are working on updates of some kind. I will give Lydia a shout...hopefully she can come to our rescue!!!!

Joan- thanks for the nudge with your challenge! I had a card almost done but couldn't seem to find the elements to complete it- and your washi tape and paper piecing suggestions were just what I needed!

Yep...the galleries are having some problems w/ the search/keyword sorting. All of the challenge galleries are missing cards :(
Posted the problem to Lydia, so hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. |
