Welcome Students to our SCS Scrap Advance Degree Program --- Music Appreciation

Music --- it's everywhere and it's deeply ingrained into our culture. Whether you like to sing in church, in your car with the radio or just to yourself in the shower. Think about how music impacts your life and the lives around you. Even the song "Happy Birthday" makes everyone smile.

In this class, music will be our Inspiration for page/pages.


Bachelors Degree
To complete your Bachelors Degree you will need to use all or part of a song lyric on your layout. Can be in title or journaling - just indicate where if it is not obvious. Tell us what the song is. Please include some sort of Doodling or Ribbon.


Masters Degree
To complete your Masters Degree you will need to use all or part of a song title on your layout. Also, give your page or layout a ONE WORD Title (not necessary to make it a one word Song Title). The song lyrics word can be the title or in the journaling - just indicate where if it is not obvious. Tell us what the song is.

Doctorate Degree
To complete your Doctorate Degree you will need to use some of the lyrics, the title or the artist name on your layout from either of these songs: "Dancin Away With My Heart" - Lady Antebellum OR " Just Give Me a Reason " - Pink. This page or layout will require a heart be included




1. To be considered for VSBN Degree Program, you will need to complete the "classes" by the following dates:

Bachelors Degree -- All Classes must be completed by November 30, 2013
Masters Degree -- All Classes must be completed by December 14, 2013
Doctorate Degree -- All Classes must be completed by December 28, 2013

2. Please be sure to write your description of how you interpreted this challenge in your Upload Description.

3. Please remember to put in the correct KEYWORD VSBN1113C when uploading your image; a wrong keyword means your submission may not be seen for consideration. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.

It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout can be enjoyed by all .

I really needed a title for this page, and your Bachelor's challenge helped provide it: "California, Here I Come".

Mind you, I modified the title, as we were a group "California Here We Come". And there's a ribbon running across the page.

This ended up being the LHS of a 2 page layout:
