Stamp Addicts Blog Group - **FULL**
Hi ladies!
The Stamps R Us Blog Group has moved to our new home here at Stamps Addicts.

Just dropping in to say hello. I had some fun today stamping- added a tutorial on my blog for taking a punched strip to fit a curve or circle........
My sewing skills apply to stamping sometimes too- this is how you make fabric fit say a sleeve area- with a curve- or around a collar..... (referring to the tutorial).....
We have a warm up here- the ice and icicles in the trees are falling as they melt...... imagine that Lynn! My dog does not like it at all....it is raining little pieces of ice. This time of year, when everything starts melting, the flooding will start too. I grew up with a river in the back of the house and it was always something when the ice broke- bug hunks of ice with boats, docks, etc would be floating down the river- a site to see.
How is everyone???

Carrie, I think 10 is a good number and yes, thought about opening it up. If Tami and Jan don't want in it anymore that leaves us with only 7 - since Karen dropped out.
Let me contact Tami and Jan again today and see if I hear something back. I guess we can either open it up - or what we could do, if anyone knows of someone that'd like to be in the group, throw them a mesaage to invite them. What do you think?
The shoulder.............not good. Going to get a MRI this week and then go from there I guess. It appear it's a pinched nerve in the neck that's causing all the problems. Can't raise my left arm......now stop and think about that for a minute! Hubby has to hold the hair dryer for me while I ty to blow dry my hair every morning!! LOL! Alot of pain and no sleep....but hey, it could be worse I know! So I just keep plugging away. Thanks for asking..........

Huh???? Have I missed something or am I just not reading this properly? Jan & Tami don't want to be in the challenge group? I sure hope that's not true... gad, everyone seems so super busy these days!
I hope your shoulder is better soon Lynn & that makes sense to me that a pinched nerve is causing all the trouble so I hope they can do something for it.

Marilyn, no Tami and Jan are in the CHALLENGE group just don't know if they are still in the Stamp Addicts group here on SCS. Jan actually responded to my PM about staying in the group and indicated she was going to but she hasn't checked in here yet, so I don't know. Tami never responded to the PM I sent her when we changed our name to Stamp Addicts and also hasn't checked in here. I'm going to PM both of them today to see what they're going to do.

Tami, hope Aly is doing better now! What all did you buy at Michaels and JoAnn's?
Jan, SO GLAD you made it over here - if I'm not mistaken you SHOULD get automatic updates now when someone comments. It's kinda like Alissa said though - sometimes we do and sometimes not. I usually just try to check it every few days if there's no updates.
I go tomorrow for a MRI on my neck/shoulder, etc.....pain in the behind - not take that back......it's a pain in the shoulder, neck, etc! LOL! Can't get in to see the doctor until next Tuesday though so that's kinda stressing me out.....We'll see I guess.

Hello
Hello all! I just wanted to drop in really quickly....had a wild weekend! I also did the OWH blog hop- which was fun, but I spent hours hopping and am only about 1/2 way done...... It is such a good cause though, will do what I can to get through it- a few blogs here and there- I should be done by the end of the week......
My daughter was home over the weekend from Ohio, and I had friends over for stamping after work Friday (night) then we invited some engineers that work with my husband- here from China- over for dinner and games Sat night. I worked today..off tomorrow- yeah!
Lynn, sorry to hear you are having such a rough time- I hope you get some relief ASAP! Tami- hope you get rid of the flu in your home ASAP!
Yeah! Glad everyone has made it here- sorry to see Karen go.

Hope everyone is having a good tuesday. My son has another doc appt today, we just can't seem to shake these ear infections he's getting. I'm hoping he's not going to need tubes. Carrrie.....hopefully all will be well with your son! Both of my granddaughters had to get the tubes in the ears....the youngest one had hers done when she was like 18 months old! Not a fun time for mom when that happens!

Stopping by to say hi........
Wow- it has been a whirlwind here! Our daughter came home for the weekend last weekend- she is going on a cruise for spring break this week (senior year with her sorority sis'). Our son came home yesterday for a week- he will be in Colorado all summer for an internship, so coveting every moment. I am planning college visits for next week with my youngest- Univ of Ill and Notre Dame- and she has seen Mich State.
My oldest brother (54) has a 4 yr old....really- who was just diagnosed with a large kidney tumor, and will be having a kidney removed Monday at Childrens Hosp in Cincinnati. My brother is really dirt poor, so not only do we feel so sad Bryan has this issue, but one more thing for my brother to deal with! They are hanging in there, and I will probably head down there later next week.......
Wow- hope everyone is well!

My little nephew had his surgery yesterday- he IS going to have to have chemo and radiation because the tumor was connected to his liver........

I just got home from taking my husband for his Big 5-0 Colonoscopy (his first one ever). He asked me over and over- did the Dr. come by yet? What did he say? By the 7th or 8th time, I was laughing- sorry- it;s the nurse in me.....Versed is a wonderful drug- it has a forgetful property to it...we used it alot in the Intensive Care Unit when I worked there...........
How is everyone??? Lynn, how is the pinched nerve? Has it calmed down at all? How is your hubby doing?

Carrie- did your little one need to have ear tubes???
Is Aly better- no more throat issues?

My son is home on Spring break. He has an internship lined up in Breckenridge for the summer- he is really excited- he claims he is never coming back to Illinois!....(Boo) I mean to live permanently.......
I am off next week and am going to take little one to visit Notre Dame and Illinois. And, will head to Ky for a few days.

oh shelly your family is in my prayers.
that's funny about your dh. no so far no on the tubes his ear was actually clear last visit with some minor scarring. he's on another 10 day round of meds for a sinus infection so keeping fingers crossed
enjoy your time off next week
