I am so excited to be hosting a challenge in our 4th annual Hope You can Cling to event.
Every time I perform my breast exam, I am happy when I don't feel any lumps. That lead me to my challenge theme: Flat is fabulous.
Create a card Clean and Simple card. One or two layers....no bulky layers or embellishments. Keep it flat. I can't wait to see what you create!
Thank you again for joining us, and see the details below for sending in your cards.

Beate, I love this idea! What's so neat is it really forces us to keep it simple, but make it beautiful. Stamp from the heart, ladies. It doesn't have to have 10 layers to be special. Let's see how everyone approaches this one. Can't wait to see.
This was not easy for me.....but I made a one layer card with just a couple of die cut embellishments.....but I do so love that I get challenged out of my box!
I had to laugh at the description because even with no lumps I don't think I've been described as flat since the 7th grade!!! All kidding aside....no lumps is an exciting thing these days since so many that I know, including my mom, have found lumps.
I used today's colors to rock'n roll a flat card. I'm sorry-I added a layer of framing because it just seemed to need a little more color along the edge. Flat Because I Care
Even if you do not find lumps, please don't forget to do your yearly mammograms! I did not find my cancer with self exams because my breast tissue is so dense. Thank goodness it was caught early!
Anyway, I really had trouble with this challenge, I am not too good on the CAS cards. I think my cards always look like a little kid did them. I had that feeling on the punched out flower one but was a lot happier with the rose one but that may have had something to do with being able to color with my markers!
Managed to get some samples done today as I took a day off work, so here's my Flat Butterfly Flourishes for this challenges. (I did have to add some ruffled ribbon though!)
