Then I made a huge batch of Arugula Potato Salad to take to a church bonfire....I'm sitting here smelling like wood smoke. The weather was just right-clear, crisp, beautiful. All in all a really nice day. Will have to stamp extra tomorrow as I just don't have any energy left for stamping. Migraines, even when stopped in their tracks with meds, still zap me.
PS-as per my signature line-my family realizes that the creative outlet is important to my sanity and unless I let it get completely out of balance, they support my need to hit the craft room and stamp away!
The cupcakes sound AMAZING!
And amen to the post script! Stamping is my most creative outlet right now. I do sew and knit, too, and they are extremely rewarding and relaxing, but I follow patterns. Stamping is anything at all. The kids need play time. Mommy needs craft time.
Daddy does, too, but he never seems to get it. Maybe I'll do some reading today about what kind of wood he needs to get started with his lathe.
