Do you mean, what do I tend to use for every project, or what is permanenetly out on my deks top for easy reach?
if the first, it would be adhesive - ATG Tape gun and Mono Multi, scissors, and spong for my ink.
If you meant the latter:
paper trimmer, score-board and desk mat with grid lines.
Hmmm, 1) ruler 2) pencil for sketching and erasable markings 3) ok...realistically 30 things could fall into this #3 spot - I'll go with a small little scrap basket.
1. Glass cutting board. I use it instead of a craft mat and I take it with me if I craft away from home.
2. Laptop.
3. A series of eight small wire baskets that I use instead of one of those craft tool caddy/totes. I could never get organized in one of those things.
Note - I have a wide, shallow drawer under the desk top with two stacked scor-pals (metric and imperial) with their corresponding grid mats. I pull out the drawer and work on that surface when I'm not using the glass surface.
