Default SU paper doily

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fold this doily to make it work behind another stamp? I'm trying to make the card pictured in the catalog on pg. 17-but cannot for the life of me figure out how to fold it properly..
thanks for your help!

Practice :-) Really I don't think there is any tip or trick other than just kind of folding/scrunching. I've done it a few times and it just took me a few tries of doing it. If I didn't like it I tried to smooth it out and work on it again. I used some glue dots to hold it down here and there where it needed to. Good luck!

You could cut one end into the doily center and then cut the center out leaving a bit of the plain paper in the center but then you would have a circular type strip- similar to lace for sewing...

Use sticky strip on the back of your image and then attach the doily in pleated pattern around the circle...

I did this on a card to create a straight strip but it could work on a circle image although you may need to use more that one doily :-)

I am not real fond of this card but you can see the doily "lace" on the side
